Forever and a day events were just great!! We hired them for our ceremony room decorations which really made our venue that extra bit special. The communication in the lead up to the day was great and really made us feel at ease. We would really recommend them for anyone planning there wedding!

Stacey is a genuine, warm, helpful and wise person. She is very personable and grasps a good understanding of individuals, couples and their visions for their dream celebrations. We opted for on the day management and this was invaluable especially as we had a number of unforeseen challenges to contend with in the run up to and on the day (15.06.24) such as our wedding cake maker cancelling just one month before and entertainment arriving late on the day! Her team are proactive, resourceful and good fun. On our day, Jess was leading and she and the rest of the team were great engaging with us, our guests and even leading on the Candy by Cameo dance 💃🏻 Thoughtful messages and gifts from Stacey before and on the day really enhanced the experience for us and we can wholeheartedly recommend the service she provides for anyone who wants full planning and/or on-the-day coordination for weddings or any celebration in fact!

I used Events for You for my daughter's bat-mitzvah. They were professional and efficient from start to finish. The hot pink and orange ostrich feather center pieces they made for me were exquisite and outstanding and the stand would flash different colors all night. They were a great size and set off the entire room. All my guests commented on how amazing they were. They are a lovely company to deal with.

Highly recommend Victoria at Extremely Lovely Wedding and Events. She is great to communicate with and couldn’t agree more with the last review, nothing was too much trouble for her and she really works through your vision so you get what you want but stay within your budget. We had a simple wedding at the beginning of March 2024 and didn't want a lot of decor - Victoria immediately understood what we needed and made sure that it was simple and classic but beautiful too. It ended up perfectly complimenting our style, and we had lots of compliments about how the space looked. Victoria was really easy to deal with, very friendly, and I would absolutely recommend!

Victoria was an incredibly helpful supplier for our wedding. Putting us in touch with other suppliers and setting up fantastic decorations. Her decorations are amazing quality and there is a wide variety to fit any scheme. We couldn't have achieved such a cohesive professional look for our wedding without Victoria's input from early on. Can't recommend her enough.

We had our wedding a couple of weeks ago (02nd November), with an Autumnal theme during the day which turned into a bit more of a Fiesta vibe in the evening. We got in contact with Victoria fairly early on and explained our vision in terms of decor, and she was so on board, communicative and helpful in taking our vision, and helping us to implement it - sending images of things she had in stock with prices, as well as suggesting which bits we could potentially do ourselves if we had the time. The Autumnal trees, and cake arch in particular really complemented and enhanced the theme during the day and helped to make the cake stand out, and the touches to the evening decor such as the ribbon wall and fake candles for memory table (Offrenda) really helped create the fiesta atmosphere we wanted! Victoria was very friendly, easy to work with and we would definitely recommend her for anyone looking for help or ideas on decor!

Michelle is one incredible lady. She dressed our wedding venue with the most gorgeous drapes and hanging Ivy which fitted our themed perfectly, as well as provide a freestanding adjustable frame for a flower wall. Nothing was too much trouble, Michelle is extremely reliable and she is just a lovely lovely human being. She understands it’s a big day for the bride and groom and does everything in her power to make them feel special as well as ensure the decor is exactly how they want it. Jodie was an absolute pleasure to work with from the moment we began. She listened to what we wanted and made it happen, and it turned out better than we could have ever imagined. The flowers were stunning, the table decorations, the ramp decorations, the lanterns, the aisle and even down to her helping us make a U shaped table possible- was all perfect. Every single guest commented on how beautiful it was and complimented her work. Thank you to all at Event Themes by JW for the time spent setting up the on Friday and Saturday and for making the moving of flowers and relaying/ adding bar table’s absolutely seem less! I could literally go on and on about each and every aspect of the day… but I won’t. They truly exceeded expectations and made our dreams come true- contributing to making our wedding day the best day of our lives !

I attempted a wedding fair at the holiday inn and event Themes immediately caught my eye the table display looked beautiful and I knew I I wanted them to decorate our venue. Unfortunately our wedding got cancelled three times down to covid but jodie was amazing and kept in contact with me all the way through. Tom and Great British Events helped me plan my 32nd birthday in our home garden! Tom listened to my ideas from the start and was very prompt to answer even the smallest question. He was very attentive and incredibly accommodating. On the day of the party, Tom and his team were simply outstanding. They managed every aspect of the event with precision and attention to detail, ensuring that everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The decorations, food, drinks, and entertainment were all top-notch, and my guests and I had an amazing time. Will be planning future events with them for sure!

Tom from Great British Events company is reliable and friendly. I had initially given him a concept and our meeting theme. He then came up with so many lovely ideas, keeping in mind the budget and the main focus of the event being wellbeing. He was proactive in offering solutions. Everyone loved the deco and the idea of a violinist to suit our theme was much appreciated. I will definitely get in touch with Tom again for future events. When it came to payment he was so patient till it all worked out according to our company guidelines. He does not push you but works alongside with you. Thank You Tom

Had a fantastic experience working with Tom, who helped me organise a post wedding BBQ for family celebrating my brother and his new wife. Tom made it so easy and stress free for me, he listened to the brief and sourced all the suppliers. Tom helped me communicate with the suppliers when there were delays on deliveries, but everything arrived in time for our event. We had a small issue with rain on the day the marquee went up, as the grass became quite wet and a bit muddy, but Tom thought on his feet and was able to bring some carpet that we could use at the entrance of the marquee to help clean shoes upon exiting the marquee. Tom also went the extra mile and helped with setting up in the morning which was greatly appreciated. He made it look great and was very helpful with suggesting setup styles and also displaying the flowers that we brought back from the wedding. Guests were very impressed with the quality of the catering too. I highly recommend working with Tom for stress free event planning, and would love to work together again (just need another occasion to come up as an excuse 😂) My sincerest thanks Tom! Sofia

I recently organised a surprise 30th birthday weekend for my boyfriend at Abbotstone Farm House, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The team at The Grange were incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to ensure everything remained a surprise. Communicating with Tara was a pleasure—she was always efficient and responsive, and no question or request felt too big or small. The thoughtful welcome hamper was such a lovely touch and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The stay itself was amazing. Abbotstone Farm House is warm, charming, and beautifully homely, with plenty of space to relax, play games, and enjoy meals together. We were fortunate to catch some late summer sun, which meant we could make full use of the tennis court, private pool, and the estate’s extensive grounds. The evenings were cool enough to light the fires, which added an extra element of cosiness to our stay. There are a number of great activities available around the estate to choose from, but in the end, our group opted for the cider-making and tasting workshop. Fred and Patrick expertly guided us through the whole process, from picking apples and pressing them for juice to explaining how cider is made and letting us sample some of their own creations. They were both knowledgeable and incredibly friendly, making the experience a highlight of the weekend. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. I can confidently say, on behalf of all our friends, that we highly recommend staying at Abbotstone Farm House. Whether you’re planning a family gathering or a weekend away with friends, this place is a fantastic choice—we're already looking for an excuse to return!

We hired the Lake House Cottage for a strategy away day, evening and stay over. The space worked perfectly for both the group strategy sessions and social side in the evening. The bedrooms are extremely comfortable and the surroundings serene and calm, perfect for stepping back, building trust and discussing the future. The team at The Grange were excellent, the food delicious and the break was an overall huge success, I can’t recommend this venue more highly. Ed W

We could not speak more highly of The Grange as a venue. The team support you right from square one becoming advisors, supporters, cheerleaders, rational but creative thinkers and friends. They have excellent supplier recommendations from caterers (Becka Cooper is a-class), florists (Wildbunch are so wonderful) and tech leads (Peachy Productions know the building like the back of their hand), to name a few. The nearby Abbotstone Farmhouse and Clock Tower make for superb guest accommodation where every commodity and need is thought of. We honestly can not fault any of it and as an events lead for almost a decade, the experience of planning our wedding there was just top tier. We adore them all and recommend it to everyone planning a wedding, party, away day, celebration and more!

The Grange was the first venue we viewed and, from the moment we arrived, we knew that this would be the place where we would celebrate our wedding! Julia made us feel so welcome from our first meeting and, throughout the planning process, we were incredibly well looked after by the whole team. Tara was brilliant in helping us to fine tune the wedding weekend - we booked all of the on-site accommodation to allow our family, plus the bridesmaids and groomsmen to celebrate with us for the whole weekend, which was the best decision ever! A separate review for the accommodation will follow. They also recommended amazing suppliers, such as Becka Cooper (our joyful caterer who is a certified culinary genius) Ward-Brown (our incredible and fun-loving photographer who captured the attached photos), Wildbunch (our wonderful floristry team who made the most spectacular floral arrangements), Whitwams (who used thoughtfully arranged lighting and sound to bring the Grange to life) and Allens (who provided the pristine table linen and beautiful crockery and glassware). Now, for the wedding day! The emotion I felt when our vintage bus bumbled along the driveway and we got our first glimpse of the Grange is difficult to put into words, but (as cheesy as it sounds) it was a dream come true. When we arrived, Julia, Tara and Amanda were waiting with glasses of fizz and beaming smiles. The two years of teamwork had paid off! 💞 Throughout the wedding reception, all three wonderful ladies were mingling with our guests, attentively looking after us all and ensuring everything went smoothly. They went above and beyond to ensure we had the time of our lives all day and night. They even gave us a personalised card and a bottle of The Grange sparkling wine! They also captured their own wonderful footage, which they made into a reel for us to enjoy when we woke up the next morning. Right up until Midnight, the whole team waiting staff, lead by Amanda, were kind and attentive to all of our guests. We have had so many compliments since the wedding about the Grange team and their attention to detail, warmth and friendliness. They have also been described by multiple guests as ‘the best looking staff team’ they have ever seen! We honestly feel as though we have gained a new family since we booked our wedding two years ago, the Grange experience is like no other and we will be forever grateful for it! ✨
