We hired Winterborne Hire & Styling for our wedding in July and honestly it was the easiest, best decision we made for our big day! Dawn was so helpful and understood our vision the entire process. She really listened and ordered in pieces we needed to really bring our colour scheme and vision to light. I can’t recommend them enough!

Absolutely fantastic job from Winterborne Hire & Styling! We rented some beautiful table decorations and flower pillars that complimented our wedding venue perfectly.They have a great range of items in their showroom and Dawn was so helpful and patient in taking through what items to choose. They are very professional and coordinated directly with the venue and had a delivery option making it seamless and efficient (one less thing for me to worry about!). Highly recommend :)

We used Winterborne Hire & Styling for our wedding at Abbots Court and couldn’t have been happier with the service provided! From the first visit to the styling barn with Dawn right up until the wedding day itself and after the event, Dawn was on hand to help with any questions we had. We opted to set the venue decorations up ourselves the day prior to the wedding and this was made so easy as the beautiful arches were set up for us and the rest of the items we ordered came in extremely organised boxes which saved a lot of time. Winterborne Hire and Styling were incredible at making our day extra special. I visited their lovely show room a few months prior to our wedding. After discussing what we needed, they produced some spectacular arrangements to suit the theme for our wedding and to match our fresh flowers. We recently booked the orangery suite for our daughters first birthday and it was a beautiful day in a stunning venue! Accommodated a large number of people as well as ticking all the boxes for amenities. Deborah and the team made planning our wedding in Portugal seamless. Everything was very well organised from the choices of vendors and recommended timings of their booking to the payment schedule and I didn’t feel stressed once during the process. Deborah was always available to answer questions even during evenings and weekends which was very much appreciated! I had the pleasure of meeting Rosie in my capacity as a wedding celebrant. She is a consummate professional has a fabulous sense of style, is hugely creative and an enviable address book of contacts from which to draw. Instantly likeable and someone you just know will be a constant calm, focused and reassuring presence who will help turn your dream for your event into a reality. Her dedication to the job has no bounds. I love this image of her working hard despite the near tropical conditions at a wedding we worked on together in the summer last year. I couldn't recommend her more highly. She also happens to be a massive supporter of celebrant led ceremonies!

Having Rosie as part of our wedding day (and the months leading up to it) was one of the best decisions we made. She was so calm, composed and “on it” throughout the whole process that we couldn’t help but feel that way too! She is incredibly knowledgeable and just bubbling with amazing ideas. Having a marquee wedding on our family farm, we really appreciated her expert eye but also her focus on the environment and sustainability. My only regret is that we discovered Rosie about halfway through our planning - I only wish we could have worked with her from the beginning.

Shillingstone House is a charming old country manor house with a lovely setting ideal for weddings. We went with an art group to paint "Plein Air". The gardens were full of colour with interesting plants for botanical studies. The kitchen garden was delightful in its assortment of plants and blooms. The house itself is full of charming architectural angles and loads of character and makes for a great artistic opportunity to capture its charm. There are beautiful old trees and lovely wide lawns, the host and hostess were very friendly and accommodating.

The place is super cozy, with stunning, picturesque views. I went there with my art group for a plein air painting session and absolutely loved it. The serene surroundings and well-kept beautiful garden make it a perfect spot for relaxing and getting inspired. Highly recommended!

We had my nieces tipi wedding at this stunning setting. Lord and lady Caroline made us feel so welcome. They seamlessly helped with the little bits behind the scenes to make a very perfect wedding weekend. Having already done a tipi wedding five years previously. I can only support and endorse what a great place for a wedding with such super hosts Lord and Lady Michael and Caroline Salt.

A beaming bride reviewing..... I cannot begin to thank Caroline and Michael enough for letting myself and Rufus have our wedding day at Shillingstone House, not only was the day itself so magical and joyous in their beautiful grounds, but the lead up to the day was fantastic. Caroline was extremely helpful and really took the time to understand what we wanted for the day and liaised with suppliers beforehand to help the day run smoothly. It's amazing that you can hire the grounds Friday -Sunday, it made decorating a really relaxing and enjoyable task as we had the whole day Friday to set up the site. I really loved Caroline's blog on her website as it was a great way to draw inspiration and again, I could see all the love and care she put into people's weddings days. Shillingstone House definitely doesn't feel like a wedding venue where you are on a conveyor belt and just a number- the whole day felt so personal. We are so so grateful that we got to have our wedding at Shillingstone House, our guests loved the beautiful fields and sensational flowers, there really was beauty everywhere you turned! My husband and I had the most incredible wedding at The Italian Villa in July. The entire team were fantastic and there was excellent communication from booking, throughout planning and to after the day! Every little detail was taken care of and our vision brought to life exactly as we hoped. Bianca is an absolute credit to the team - she had handled any last minute thing we thought of before we even asked, and the day ran SO smoothly without any issues thanks to her. All our guests complimented the food, and many said it’s the best wedding food they’ve ever had - it was incredible! We loved that each part of the day took place in a different part of the villa, too, and each room is neutral and very timeless and don’t need lots of decoration added at all. The gardens make for stunning photos! Thank you to the whole team for being so brilliant - we truly had the best day!

We had our reception and evening celebration at The Italian Villa. The location was fantastic and the guests all commented on how lovely the venue was. The service was amazing during the reception and the food was fantastic. The staff really looked after us and made sure we got to try every canapé. The only downside was they didn't slice the cake until we asked, which was really late at 9pm. Also the evening BBQ was inside and not outside. We recommend this venue as they replied to all my emails efficiently and organised the running of the day beautifully.

The entire team at the Italian villa were absolutely faultless. From the moment we viewed the Villa we knew it was the perfect venue for our wedding. We used the Medici suite for our ceremony with drinks reception outside. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained allowing for some stunning photos. From setting up our decorations, accommodating various dietary requirements, and making the day run smoothly. We couldn’t have asked for more. On our wedding day, everything ran like clockwork. We were able to relax and enjoy our day, knowing that Bianca was on hand and working behind the scenes so the day ran on time. We enjoyed a wonderful evening tasting our menu before the big day. The food is delicious. All our guests complimented the incredible food and drinks. The hospitality staff are all so friendly and professional. I would highly recommend the Italian Villa for your wedding venue. It is truly a wonderful location with a great team on hand to make your day perfect. I could not recommend the Italian Villa and all of their staff enough. Thanks to them we had the most incredible wedding day in August, it was everything we could have ever dreamed of and more. The attention to detail was unmatched and nothing was too much trouble, they helped bring my vision to life and I cannot thank them enough. The food and drinks were amazing, every single guest could not fault it and said it was some of the best food they’d ever had at a wedding. I will forever be grateful to them for making our day so special and for being there for us every step of the way both through the planning process and on the day.

Absolutely gorgeous wedding venue. The cottages make for a lovely place for family/wedding party to stay and get ready on the day. My only comment is the cottage kitchens could do with a bit more kitchen utensils/plates/basic necessities etc, we didn't have enough knives and forks on the Hayloft for the people staying there

When we started planning our wedding we wanted it to be like a weekend away with all of our family with a wedding thrown in. We were in love with Marshwood Manor as soon as we walked into the bar and as we saw the cottages, the wildflower meadow and the woodland Bower for the ceremony we knew this place was for us. Marshwood Manor was a home away from home for us and our guests. It is idyllic. For our wedding we did not need over the top decorations, installations, flowers as the setting has a natural beauty of its own.

This is the second time we have stayed here and we love the location and the accommodation. It lacked a few kitchen essentials as we do like to cook and eat in but the rest of the cottage is very comfortable with a lovely wildflower meadow just outside. Owners very helpful, friendly and love dogs. The footpaths from Marshwood Manor are a bit overgrown but there are beautiful walks all around the area. We will definitely go again.

Lovely little place. You can park by the lake or walk up from Tisbury along the public footpaths.

Ashley Wood Farm is just the most phenomenal place. We rearranged our wedding 6 times during the pandemic so we could get married here. It did not disappoint. Bee and Ralph were wonderful and supported us throughout the whole journey. We finally got married in July a few weeks ago and thanks to them, we had the most incredible day. The gardens were stunning, the atmosphere was amazing and we could not have asked for a better place to get married. We stayed in the lodge for one night after the wedding which was perfect too. We would love to come back to visit this special place and would recommend to everyone. Thank you for everything. Katie and Jason. XX
