This was the venue of our dreams! Gail was fantastic, always happy to help with our many questions and walked us through everything we needed to know. The grounds are stunning and it was such a privilege to be able to wander around - locations for beautiful photos are endless! The barn is gorgeous, the lounge area upstairs was brilliant for our guests who wanted a rest and the toilets are beautifully decorated! As soon as we arrived, we knew Hinton was the one!

We got married at HSM Estate in September and it was a truly wonderful day, it is difficult to adequately describe what a perfect venue it is - photos truly don't do it justice. Our wedding ceremony was held on the grounds behind the Tithe Barn and we had our meal and reception inside the barn, but there is so much else here to see - the grounds are large and full of character, and different areas for guests to explore and enjoy. We were lucky to have perfect weather, however this venue would be magical in any conditions. We were looking for a dry hire venue which we could really make our own, and HSM was exactly what we wanted. The building is beautiful, and has practical elements such as a stage (with curtain), a mezzanine with sofas, a small kitchen and large side area where caterers can set up - and REALLY nice toilets (recently refurbished) - the management at this venue are great at listening to and acting on feedback, and are always adding details and changing elements where they can, to keep the venue at the highest possible standard and with ease of functionality. Our point of contact for viewing the venue, Gail, was also hired as our wedding coordinator. She really went above and beyond for us, from the initial viewing of the venue, to the additional visits afterward, right through to the final planning stages and of course the day itself. She has amazing knowledge of the venue and the history, which really added so much to the experience and made it so much more than just a venue. In addition to the venue itself, there is some accommodation on-site which is brilliant for bridal party / groomsmen or whoever you need to be close by. It was great to be able to get ready and walk out to the ceremony, no transport required. The cottages are also gorgeous and well supplied. We couldn't recommend this place enough as a wedding venue, it was everything we wanted and so much more, and our guests all had a wonderful day. 5 stars is not enough!

After two years of planning with Gail as our main contact at Hinton St Mary we got married in April 2024, we had a truly wonderful wedding. Gail was phenomenal and very good with her recommendations throughout our planning. All our recommended suppliers knew the venue well making our planning easier. The venue was dry hire , many of our guests travelled from near and far so we made use of the venue from Friday to Sunday. The blank canvas of the barn was turned into something of our own which we decorated with fairy lights , rustic tables and chairs and greenery. The band played from the stage allowing a large dance floor below , the kitchen and toilets were great and easy to access. Other bonuses of the venue is St Peter’s church is just a few 100 meters from the venue and easy access for all guests . Accommodation onsite is available to the bridal party and those who need to stay on site , we found the accommodation to be very comfortable and convenient all weekend. We couldn’t recommend Hinton St Mary highly enough as a wedding venue.

I cannot recommend this venue highly enough, our wedding here was absolutely perfect. The barn itself is lovely but the real gem is the outdoor space - it’s stunning and there is so much of it! We had a stunning ceremony in the middle garden, drinks reception in the sunken garden and then the walled garden just outside the barn made a beautiful extension for our reception. We were given the freedom to make our vision come true and it was just incredible. Gail was a saint throughout the entire booking and planning process, and was a godsend on the day! The cottages are wonderful too, they are well worth their money. The pub down the road was the perfect place for the evening before for a big family meet up as well as a more intimate wedding party breakfast the following morning. Having the venue for the whole 3 days was just amazing - we were never rushed and we had the time to do what we wanted and needed to do. The flexibility with everything was just fantastic, I am so so glad we chose this beautiful venue, it was perfect. Thank you so much :)

Absolutely fantastic job from Winterborne Hire & Styling! We rented some beautiful table decorations and flower pillars that complimented our wedding venue perfectly.They have a great range of items in their showroom and Dawn was so helpful and patient in taking through what items to choose. They are very professional and coordinated directly with the venue and had a delivery option making it seamless and efficient (one less thing for me to worry about!). Highly recommend :)

We used Winterborne Hire & Styling for our wedding at Abbots Court and couldn’t have been happier with the service provided! From the first visit to the styling barn with Dawn right up until the wedding day itself and after the event, Dawn was on hand to help with any questions we had. We opted to set the venue decorations up ourselves the day prior to the wedding and this was made so easy as the beautiful arches were set up for us and the rest of the items we ordered came in extremely organised boxes which saved a lot of time. We hired Winterborne Hire & Styling for our wedding in July and honestly it was the easiest, best decision we made for our big day! Dawn was so helpful and understood our vision the entire process. She really listened and ordered in pieces we needed to really bring our colour scheme and vision to light. I can’t recommend them enough!

Winterborne were absolutely brilliant and so helpful throughout our wedding journey. They decorated our ladders with faux plants, and the results were stunning—the photos speak for themselves. We received so many compliments, and you honestly couldn’t tell the plants were artificial. In the lead-up, the team was incredibly supportive. They ensured everything was set up quickly, allowing us to move on with the rest of the decorations without feeling rushed. They even offered additional staff to help with other decorative elements, which was such a kind gesture. We just can’t recommend Winterborne enough!

We got married at Abbots Court in September 2023 and want to do it all over again! Cat was so helpful both the day before and on the wedding day setting everything up. We wouldn't have known where to start but she coordinated us all very well. Cat also kept our stress and nerves as low as she could on Wednesday which definitely got us through the ceremony!! The venue was absolutely stunning and the gardens were beautiful. You made it possible for us to have the relaxed and fun day we wanted. It was noted by guests that the wedding was different to any wedding they had been to before, but one of the best! It means so much to us that our friends and family had such an amazing time. We booked Abbots Court after a chance viewing and what felt like fate with our dream date becoming free the coming year. We knew the venue suited our vision of the wedding day, but it was the way that the staff saw the whole wedding weekend that filled us with the confidence to book (even with a lot of the venue still CGI drawings!) We were not disappointed when it came to our last planning meeting and seeing everything in its full glory and on the day it was perfect. The ability to have friends stay the weekend with us, the informal but beautiful look and feel of Abbots Court and the amazing staff meant we truly had the best day of our lives. We were able to make a weekend of it by hosting a sports day at the venue the next day and everything was made so easy by Kat and the team. Set up was a breeze, we were given a whole day to prepare and that took the stress out of the big day, which isn’t always a luxury that venues give couples. We booked Abbots Court, Almer Manor and the Shepard’s huts on site - all provided incredible experiences for our guests and the feedback we have had from everyone that stayed has been amazing. The luxury and well thought out venues added to our wedding experience and guests were definitely keen to try and stay again in future! We want to say a massive thank you for everything you did to answer the questions (no matter how big or small) and for all the thought and advice that went into making our day truly about us, and not just a carbon copy or a template that couldn’t be veered from. A truly wonderful retreat, set in gorgeous countryside. The decor of the house is tasteful and calming. Lots of different spaces for people to enjoy - great kitchen, dinning room and lounge for larger groups & snug bar for hiding away in. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. Christina and the team were very welcoming and helpful. I Wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

I wish I could add more stars! We got married at Abbots Court in May 2023 and I can't recommend it enough as a wedding venue. The house and grounds are absolutely breath-taking in the middle of the countryside and are maintained to the highest standard. We loved that there were so many options from the Victorian Barn for the ceremony, to the gardens for reception drinks to the pavilion for dinner and party and then the house (and the glamping pods!) for the after party. Having our family and friends stay in the house the night before with its huge kitchen, dining room and hot tub and then also in the glamping style pods on the night was amazing and kept the party going in the house bar! Having so many options allowed several people to stay on site which allowed the wedding to go on all weekend. One of the highlights of our wedding was the organisation in the run up to and on the day. This is all down to Cat and her amazing team who expertly put up with all my queries and worries and made everything run smoothly. I cannot thank them enough for making our wedding dreams come true. A truly special venue and we couldn't ask for more. Thank you to everyone involved.

Lovely Nicky supplied our chair covers for our wedding day and they worked perfectly with our theme. Nicky was very accommodating and flexible to my ever-changing requests and I'm so pleased we found her. I'd highly recommend her for all your wedding hire needs.

Nicky was very accommodating with the items i required. She send me photo's of what i wanted, to give me an idea on what i was hiring along with making the whole process nice and straightforward. Once the items were collected (by my dad) and bought to the venue i could certainly see Nicky looks after her props as the quality of the items were really good. I would thoroughly recommend Nicky and her business to anyone conducting any number of events not just weddings. I'm a wedding photographer. Whilst I've shot weddings at Came House it has been as the second photographer each time so I don't have bridal images to share of the venue. Instead I'll share a few room-layout images to give a flavour of it. These are all from one wedding later on in October a couple of years ago. Came House is a beautiful venue with plenty of space for guests either outside or inside. There's a beautiful garden to explore and lots of spots for those gorgeous shots of the two of you as a couple. Definitely one I enjoy working at.

Came House is surrounded by beautiful Dorset countryside, and just by itself is an incredible venue to get married at. However the team that works there make it truly special - your wedding day and the weeks / months leading up to it can be stressful, but Melanie and the Came team helped make everything so easy and stress-free for us, which allowed us to just enjoy the day, safe in the knowledge that everything was taken care of. From planning the BBQ for our friends and family on the Friday night, recommending caterers, DJ’s and wine suppliers, to the day itself (with all of our requests and last minute curveballs!) they worked tirelessly to ensure that our wedding weekend ran smoothly and to give us the perfect day. We have had so many people say how beautiful the venue looked, and how well organised everything was… We got very lucky with the weather, and even luckier that we picked Came for our special day 😊 Thank you again so much for everything! We feel very fortunate to have celebrated our wedding at Came House earlier this year. From the moment we arrived, Rags, George, and their family made us feel at home for the weekend. The wider Came House team — Melanie, Danielle, Ju, and Skinner — was an incredible support. They coordinated everything seamlessly so we could focus on enjoying time with family and friends. The venue itself is spectacular and has several areas you can use for each part of the weekend. We held our rehearsal dinner in the dining room. The next day, we used the light-filled orangery for our ceremony, held our drinks reception in the beautiful gardens and then moved to the marquee for our wedding reception. It was great that we were able to do everything in one location and avoided having to arrange transport between venues for guests. Having our closest family and friends stay on-site also allowed us to extend the celebrations across the entire weekend. We can’t recommend Came House highly enough. It’s the perfect combination of a stunning venue with a brilliant team that goes above and beyond to give you the best possible wedding experience. We had so much fun and feel very grateful to the entire team!

My Husband & I recently held our Wedding at Came House and it was perfect! The house and grounds are just beautiful and the venue really is a hidden gem! Having use of the house from Friday- Sunday extended the celebrations for us and meant we could all get ready on site in the morning. The staff at Came were all extremely helpful and hardworking and there’s a lot of work done behind the scenes to make the Wedding day run smoothly. The marquee was beautifully set up for us and a good size for the Wedding Breakfast and Reception. The grounds are stunning and provide a number of different backdrops for your wedding photos. The orangery where we had our ceremony is also a wonderful setting for that part of the day and for photos. We couldn’t fault any part of our weekend at Came House and would highly recommend it! The decor was stunning. Everyone complimented the set up of the ceremony room and how lovely the reception tables were. The Photo Booth was a massive hit with everyone. The chocolate foundation was good and the children loved it, as well as the sweet cart. Communication was good and always available for any queries.

Truly magical is the only words I can use to describe our wedding decor. I had a vision in mind and put all my trust in "a touch of class". I actually changed venues just so I could use them and I'm so glad I did. From the first message right until the day communication was prompt and informative and the day itself just blew us away ! Our guests commented it was tge most stunning set up they have ever seen and i totally agree. Absolutely perfect in every way !!

I contacted Shana via Facebook a few months ago with regard to using her as our decor supplier. In the build up to our wedding Shana has been nothing short of amazing. She is super patient and accommodating. I gave Shana my vision and she brought it to life and went above and beyond our expectations. We are so happy we chose this beautiful venue for our wedding in October. Our guests made many complimentary comments about the venue, It really is stunning, day and night. We had our wedding last Saturday and I can't begin to express our gratitude to Xanthe and the team. From the moment we visited the barn we knew it was perfect for us and Xanthe has repeatedly gone above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect and stress free. From allowing so many visits to putting out fires left, right and centre throughout the day, she has been absolutely incredible. Weddings are stressful but having someone come to you with problems and immediate solutions and then just sorting it out is something we can never say thank you enough for. Thank you for everything especially nailing our ceremony music timings and having to switch on a million LED candles. You just made our day a breeze and it exceeded all expectations. Played there as DJs last night and it was a absolute pleasure. I would so recommend this Venue to anybody thinking about getting married in the near future.
