Nicky was very accommodating with the items i required. She send me photo's of what i wanted, to give me an idea on what i was hiring along with making the whole process nice and straightforward. Once the items were collected (by my dad) and bought to the venue i could certainly see Nicky looks after her props as the quality of the items were really good. I would thoroughly recommend Nicky and her business to anyone conducting any number of events not just weddings. If you are looking to conduct an event in Dorset, definitely check out this company. 5 * from me

WHAT A VENUE! Having shot at venues all over Mapperton is just incredible. It has everything, and I mean everything. Multiple choices for the ceremony, STUNNING grounds, gorgeous barn. It honestly has it all. The staff are wonderful, so welcoming and really take care of their suppliers - which means they take care of their couples. It's a dream venue!

Well what can I say?! Our wedding day was an absolute dream from start to finish. The team is absolutely incredible, with special shout outs to Emma for her impeccable organisation and to Andrew for his flawless service. We had several mobility challenged members of our party and they left this event feeling like they’d been treated like absolute queens! Nothing was too much trouble, they were always checking everyone was happy and often anticipated what we wanted before we had even realised! We were in super safe hands and could fully relax into the day and just enjoy it. We will forever treasure these special memories that were made possible by this incredible team of people.

The most perfect day at a dream venue Patrick and I had the most incredible experience getting married at Mapperton. From the moment we first visited we knew it was the perfect venue for us due to how flexible, versatile and stunning it is. Holly our amazing wedding coordinator was one of the reasons we chose the venue and is a true asset to Mapperton. She was there to take us through the whole process, being a fountain of knowledge for amazing suppliers in the South West and nothing was too big an ask. Most importantly she made sure our day ran like clockwork and we couldn't have asked for a better day. Our guests have given us so many compliments saying it is the favourite wedding they have ever been to and this is all thanks to the hard work put in by the team at Mapperton. We held our wedding at Antrobus House and I couldn’t have wished for a better day. The venue was beautiful and just amazing for a wedding, and Catherine, who helped to facilitate the day was perfectly perfect. If you haven't booked Laura already.. you must! She was so incredible from the first email. We had a very late change of wedding coordinator at our venue close to our day which really stressed me out! We were also organising a Salcombe wedding from Suffolk which made this more difficult. Then Laura contacted us and gave us complete confidence that everything would be exactly as we wanted it and it couldn't have been more perfect. I was very specific about all my design ideas and Laura went above and beyond to make sure it was perfectly as I'd envisioned. She made excellent suggestions to compliment the things I'd already arranged, the pink ruffle tablecloths were so beautiful along with the gold cutlery and charger plates. It honestly looked more beautiful than I could have imagined. On the day itself we couldn't have managed without her. She went out of her way to help my husband arrange all of the decor along with coordinating the various suppliers. She even helped with his buttonhole! Her attention to detail is incredible we knew the changeover to our wedding breakfast set up would be fabulous and it brought us both to tears walking in and seeing it for the first time. We really can't recommend you highly enough Laura and thank you so very much for making our wedding the most beautiful Salcombe has ever seen!

Laura was just simply the best! From the initial phone call to the wedding day, she was a dream to work with. Friendly, supportive, patient, professional and nothing too much trouble - she made my day absolutely perfect. I’m absolutely useless at ideas and decor etc but she somehow made the little vision I had, in to something that was everything I wanted and more! We recently got married at the Salcombe Harbour Hotel and as we are not based locally, decided that it would be a good idea to have a wedding planner to help us. We were lucky to have Laura recommended to us and getting Laura involved was the best wedding planning decision that we made! Laura is absolutely fantastic! We weren't sure what to expect but right from the get-go, Laura put us totally at ease. She isn't pushy, and doesn't "take over" at all - she took the time to get to know us and to really understand what we wanted from our big day - especially regarding the look and feel of what we wanted to create. We really wanted to "dress" our venue and Laura was absolutely invaluable in creating a visually stunning setting. She prepared mood boards and researched multiple suppliers and presented us with a variety of options - including bringing one of our specialist suppliers all the way from London. The result was absolutely stunning! We also asked Laura to supervise on the big day. Again this is definitely something that we would 100% recommend that you do as it removes any stress or worries about what happens if something doesn't go to plan on the day. Laura was there for the whole day and worked really hard - coordinating with all our suppliers, the hotel staff, kitchen and us of course - us! Despite 2 years of planning, some things will not quite go to plan on the day, but Laura sorted any issues out quickly and calmly in a seamless way so we had nothing to worry about - allowing us to focus on simply enjoying our day! We loved working with Laura, she totally understood what we wanted to create and clearly shared our passion and excitement. Laura is friendly, approachable, easy to work with, reliable, and is honest and will give you really great advice to help you achieve what you want - without being "pushy" (by the way - she is also usually right!) Winterborne were absolutely brilliant and so helpful throughout our wedding journey. They decorated our ladders with faux plants, and the results were stunning—the photos speak for themselves. We received so many compliments, and you honestly couldn’t tell the plants were artificial. In the lead-up, the team was incredibly supportive. They ensured everything was set up quickly, allowing us to move on with the rest of the decorations without feeling rushed. They even offered additional staff to help with other decorative elements, which was such a kind gesture. We just can’t recommend Winterborne enough!

We rented some beautiful table decorations and flower pillars that complimented our wedding venue perfectly.They have a great range of items in their showroom and Dawn was so helpful and patient in taking through what items to choose. From the first visit to the styling barn with Dawn right up until the wedding day itself and after the event, Dawn was on hand to help with any questions we had. We opted to set the venue decorations up ourselves the day prior to the wedding and this was made so easy as the beautiful arches were set up for us and the rest of the items we ordered came in extremely organised boxes which saved a lot of time. Juliette is a fantastic celebrant. She is very personable and instantly puts you at ease. Juliette helped us to curate our ceremony, offering guidance and provided suggestions which was incredibly helpful. Having never been to a celebrant wedding before, we weren't quite sure what to expect but we absolutely loved the whole process of working with Juliette. The most perfect celebrant! Juliette has known me since I was in my mum's tummy - so literally my whole life. When I got engaged, there wasn't going to be anyone else to marry my fiance and I except Juliette! From start to finish Juliette was amazing, full of fun and laughter, listening to all the ideas we wanted in our special ceremony, as we wanted it quite religious and sentimental she didn't disappoint! She made sure my 6 year old was included which was really important to me and not forgetting 'bump' as I was 30 weeks pregnant. We booked West Country wedding planner for our wedding in sidmouth. I could not recommend them more ! Their whole team was fantastic Gemma, Abie and Kayleigh ! Abie was available to us on the day and she was wonderful making sure everything ran completely smoothly. She put both our minds at ease was incredibly organised and efficient and friendly. She was fantastic with our guests and managing the vendors. Kayleigh was also fantastic on the day. I didn’t have to worry about a thing they went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. I cannot thank them enough! I was also able to hire extra decor (wedding postbox, love letters etc ) that I wanted from their sister company bold and beautiful weddings! It was super handy they delivered and helped to set it up. They also moved my own decor throughout the day to re use it in various locations as the wedding party moved about. They also helped me if I needed any recommendations for suppliers. Don’t hesitate to book them they remove all the stress to allow you to enjoy your wedding day !

I didn’t think planning a wedding abroad could be so easy! Gemma was such a great help for our wedding. We chose to do a very much DIY wedding which meant there was alot to organsie so Gemma was extremely helpful in terms of giving advice and sharing excellent suppliers for our wedding. We had regular catch ups and she was so helpful in regards to putting a schedule together for the day and letting me know what would work best, as this was something I found quite overwhelming to do myself. She was then there for the weekend, popping in to help with set up and discuss the next day, and helping making decisions I was being indecisive over! On the day she was fab, I was so pleased to have her there, she knew the venue really well which made life much easier. She was fab!

We first found The Orangery Suite within the few days after we got engaged in Mauritius. We emailed Becky whilst we were still abroad and viewed the venue the week after we got back to the UK and the venue looked amazing, even in the British rain! We looked at one other venue, just to say we had compared it to another place, but we knew instantly that it was the perfect venue for us. We are active people and can get bored easily, so all of the games and activities really appealed to us, along with the beautiful grounds! Becky, Scott and Louise have done the best job since taking over the venue and have really refreshed the look, including refurbishing inside the orangery suite and the outside bathrooms. Everything looked great on the day and it ran so smoothly, thanks to all of their efforts! Nothing was too much trouble for them and they helped answer and resolve any questions I had. All of our guests have commented on how perfect the venue was and what a good find it was. They all enjoyed playing all of the games, especially the mini golf, badminton, table football and basketball net! They were also so welcoming of our 2 dogs, Ted and Alfie, who also really enjoyed the day being ring bearers. There were no restrictions on how long they could stay or where they could go and it was so nice to know they were just as welcome as all of the humans! It really was the best day ever and we are so grateful to The Orangery Suite!

When my husband and I initially met with Georgia at MatthewOliver Weddings, there was an instant connection. After a few weeks of initial planning, we had some unforseen circumstances arise and had to stop with proceeding on our planning. When we were ready to resume the wedding plans, Georgia was able to work us back into her schedule. We spent the next year and half planning our dream European adventure. Georgia was the perfect planner for us. She took all of our initial requirements (location, airport proximity, historical property, handicap accessibility) and found the perfect venue. Georgia managed every detail and vendor throughout the entire process, culminating in the best weekend of our lives. From sourcing local Flamanco dancers for the welcome party, to scheduling and planning site visits and tastings, to the carefully thoughout stationary, Georgia and the Matthew Oliver team took care of everything to insure that we had the best time with our guests. Because of their close ties with everyone in the industry, we were able to pull off an incredible destination wedding with ease and in budget. Lastly, what you find is that you spend most of your time with your wedding planners and vendors during the wedding and planning process. Bethan at Apple and Bramble was the coordinator at our wedding in July. Throughout planning she was full of good suggestions about suppliers and how we could structure the day. The day before she helped us set up all the furniture and decorations. Her help and her ideas for layout and design were invaluable. She made what would have been quite a stressful task really relaxed. She was also able to hire out loads of lovely decorations and props (vases, candlesticks, cushions etc). On the day itself she managed everything perfectly from the beginning to the very end of the night so we didn't have to think about anything. I cannot stress enough what a fantastic job she did!! We had another party at the venue the day after and she was there again, bright and early and by the time we arrived she'd set everything up and it was looking beautiful again. On top of all her hard work, Bethan was just a joy to have around. We so enjoyed spending time with you! I cannot recommend Apple and Bramble highly enough. Thanks for everything :)
