As a family, we have used Companion Care pretty much since they opened, and have grown to know all of the staff (past and present) very well. They have taken such good care of all of our animals, from dogs and cats, to rabbits and rats, and even a tortoise over the years, and have shown the same level of patience, understanding, love and care to each and every one of them, regardless of species. Losing a pet is never easy, but this has been a particularly hard few months for us, losing both of our Cocker Spaniels within 8 months of each other - Bella, 11, suddenly last July to cancer, and Bailey on the 19th February, at the grand old age of 16. I cannot put in to words how grateful I am to everyone at Companion Care for their kindness and support throughout this difficult time, always so patient in taking the time to go through every available option with us, and allowing us the time to make those tough decisions. A special thank you to Antony (who I’ve know longer than my other half) for always being there for us. And to Christiaan and Sara too. I very much hope that one day, when our hearts have healed a little, that maybe we’ll cross your threshold again, with a new bundle of furry four-legged joy! My 2 cockapoos needed to be boarded very soon due to immedoate emergency essential repairs needed to bathroom & kitchen. Stubbington Ark needed all up to date health records soonest! Bruno's were fine, but Buddy's weren't & needed immediate attending to, otherwise he couldn't go. We would be stuck. Including I am really suffering from a Bulging (slipped) disk, which means I am not mobile. But thanks to swift action by Sara, who responded to this big ask, & accommodatingly arranged last minute urgent appointment for current checks & vaccinations, & then efficient transmission of information via email to Stubbington Ark, both our dogs are good to go!! Sara clearly understood the predicament I was in, & showed real empathy in dealing with this in the manner that she did. Fortunately a family member could transport the dogs to & from the vet at the last minute! And, also a big thank you to the vet who saw our 2 boys at such short notice & enabled us to all to get the situation sorted in time for all concerned! I have used Companion Vets since 2022 when we had Buddy our first puppy, then was joined by Bruno in 2023. We have absolutely no cause for complaint. All staff have been wonderful, personally & professionally, throughout.

Friendly and professional welcome. Reception staff really made it easier to help calm my dog! The vet consultation was superb, my dog was the most relaxed I had seen him as he hates going. Operation performed that day with clear information on possible outcomes and costs. Excellent customer skills and the surgery was superb. Could not have wished for more.

I always get fantastic service from Companion Care. I use WhatsApp to order my dogs flea and worming treatment which is really helpful. The reception staff are always friendly and all the vets my dog has seen have been brilliant. I can't fault them.

These vets have to deal with my cat regularly because he's a pain for getting into fights and trying to make jumps he can't, as well as getting illnesses. Lovely and friendly staff who try to be as fast as they can. Of course, there's some things they can't do and we're sent to another much larger vet, but they try their best.

Took my new Bengal kittens for initial vaccinations and check up at Cowplain. From receptionist to the veterinarian just a great experience. Lots of advice and reassurance. Obviously know what they are doing. Highly recommended 👍

We recently had to make the heart-breaking decision to have my horse put to sleep, and the experience was more difficult than I could have ever comprehended. However, the compassion and professionalism we received from Animed Veterinary Hospital, and especially from Alex, made an unbearably painful time a little easier to navigate. Alex was beyond amazing. She was empathetic, thoughtful, and kept in constant communication, offering reassurance and support every step of the way. She went above and beyond, ensuring I had everything I needed without me even having to ask, and her efforts to accommodate my family and me were truly above expectations. It was clear that Alex cared deeply for my horse, as well as us as a family, during such a sensitive time. She provided an exceptional level of care, and I can’t thank her enough for her kindness and understanding. Thank you, Alex, for everything

My dog Charlie had his 6 monthly checkup this morning. The vet was very thorough and showed a genuine interest in my dog. Very good.

They look after my 🐕 very well always happy to answer any questions you have and look after other people animal's,and very local which is good

I have brought all of my animals here since 2011 and will continue to do so (we have 10 animals). The staff are knowledgeable, caring, supportive and professional. They were amazing when we recently had to make the ultimate hardest decision and gave us all the time needed to say goodbye. Fantastic job by everyone. Thank you.

Another fantastic service from Purbrook vets. Made a call this morning as my Frankies ears were playing up and needed his cytopoint injection. Explained I didn't want him to be distressed over the weekend, they were pushed for appointments but said come in half an hour and we will see him. Can always trust Purbrook vets to take care of my boy 💙 Thank you so much 🙂

Geoff of Purbrook Vets, is nothing less than awesome. He is the most caring, thoughtful person you could ever want to care for your pet. When our cat Radar died, Geoff sent us a condolence card and a paw print from Radar too, Geoff used to call him scrapper. We are now waiting for the day, our Dog Ruby, who has known Geoff all her life, has an operation on her leg. We trust the Doc wholeheartedly, and wouldn't take our pets to any other Vet. Not only is Geoff an amazing Vet, he is a very funny bloke along with it. Geoff even stitched up my Chickens neck after Ruby attacked her, Ruby was then known as the Chook killer by the Doc. Thank you for looking after our family Geoff, you're a Star. The newest addition to our Home is Thorn (pictured), a little Barrel of Monkeys. Of course, we won't trust any other Vet with our Pets. Thorn had his first Puppy check and Jabs, as Usual, Doc was awesome with him, told us Thorn has the Smarts. We have set up the Pet Plan now too, saves a lot of Money in the long run, but no pressure, we decided to do it off our own backs. No doubt, there will be many more visits to the Doc in the in years to come. We have every confidence in his work and his advise. Thanks again Doc. Geoff is a fantastic, knowledgeable and most importantly HONEST vet and has always given our pets the best care possible. We’ve sadly lost our dog, cat and hamster since using this veterinary practice over the years but they’ve been so caring and gentle right to the very end of our pets lives and always so reassuring. It’s hard to trust vets these days but Geoff and the rest of the team are brilliant at what they do and it’s rare to find a practice like this one. Can’t thank Geoff enough for all of the help, knowledge and care that he’s provided to us as a family over the years with our animals. We would never go anywhere else with our pets.

Anderson Moores is a fantastic veterinary practice. We've used them twice now – once for our cat who was suffering from heart failure, and once for our poodle following a car accident. On both occasions, the circumstances were very distressing, and we were extremely worried about our beloved pets. We found the specialists at Anderson Moores to be compassionate and highly knowledgeable. Each time, treatment options were explained to us in detail, and we really appreciated receiving quotes in advance. The facilities are also exceptionally clean and modern. However, I have given four stars rather than five due to the pricing. I found their services to be at least 25% more expensive than other veterinary practices for comparable procedures. For example, the quote I received for a laparoscopic spay for our dog was significantly higher—over £400 more—than what was being charged just down the road. I do understand that higher fees contribute to maintaining top-tier facilities and equipment, but the price difference compared to other practices feels excessive.

Our Westie, Pixie, underwent TPLO (on both legs) surgery in March. It was traumatic for her and us, but with Anderson Moores' skills and care, we could not thank the Team enough, especially that of her Consultant, Kate Holroyd. Watching her yesterday, enjoying her freedom again, was magical. Thankyou xx

This practice deserves 100 stars they are absolutely incredible. The team saved my puppy’s life after he was admitted with a hole in his lung caused by an infection.. They explained everything thoroughly the investigations and the Surgery was of the highest standard. It was all absolutely outstanding and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them highly to anybody with a sick animal.

Exceptional care for my dog Eddie by truly knowledgable specialists. Eddie was referred in the middle of the night and after a two hour journey to Winchester I was welcomed by Eliana, Jorge and the clinical team who immediately jumped into action. Their care for my dog and concern for my piece of mind has been unmatched from specialists to front desk to nurses. I highly recommend Anderson Moores, in case of urgent care. Also it is located at a beautiful, clean and well looked after premise in the countryside. Thank you so much team for fixing my darling boy!

They made what was a heart breaking time easier. They showed care and compassion not only to our cat but ourselves as well. Even making sure we were OK to drive before we left.

Very professional and kind at a very worrying time for me re archie. I was so worried with his constant sickness and at times rhaspy breathing but was reassured by vet . Archie was so out of character for him...and never seen him that way before.... ty so much.

Absolutely amazing service, lovely vet who the dog loved. Had us in and sorted out the issues we had and looked after our boy very well. Incredible vet and service provided and would highly recommend. Clearly they are in the business for the love of animals and everyone was fantastic. Having gone during night shift as well it's wonderful to see everyone still so welcoming and kind.

The team took great care of our Cocker Spaniel Poppy when we had to rush her here. All the staff were so kind and friendly, they took their time explaining everything to us and more importantly taking care of Poppy. We had regular updates from the team when we had to leave Poppy over night. Couldn’t recommend them enough, we are so grateful for the service and support they provide.
