My project was converting a Victorian attic nursery into a modern home office space by installing two large roof windows into the slate roof and bringing insulation up to modern standards whilst retaining the building character and features such as the exposed purlins. Stephen started on the agreed date. He prepared a clear and orderly workspace and took every reasonable precaution to protect our belongings from the dust that inevitably results from dropping a lath-and-plaster ceiling. The site was left tidy every evening, and he arrived punctually each morning. I cannot fault the quality of his workmanship.
