Elegant and stylish setting, we had a comfortable and well positioned table with plenty of space. Beautiful attention to detail and a very warm welcome from the team. Smiling and charming service. Food was absolutely delicious: soft shell crab, sushi, grilled meats all a highlight. I loved the wide choice of sake by the glass: get stuck in an experiment. I had 3 and they were all tasty and matched with the food perfectly. Good coffee and my husband loved his wee ice cream cone to finish. Excellent: I only wish this was in our neighbourhood. Lucky Oxted.

Absolute gem, food was amazing, staff amazing. Quick service. Child friendly, can't wait to go back. All sushi was fresh and tasty, tempura moreish, don buri amazing our 6 year old ate it and she can be picky! Chicken teriyaki also great.

Had heard from many this place has great food and we were not disappointed. From the outside the view of the place is amazing. And once you walk in all the staff are friendly. For starters we ordered Veg Tempura / Pop Corn Shrimp / Sojin Maki Rolls / Salmon & Avocado / Kinjo Maki Rolls. For dinner Chicken Teryaki Donburi to share and for dessert we had the delicious Salted Caramel ice cream with biscuit crumble! ALL we ordered was yummy and would love to go back to try their other dishes. We love spicy food so their chili oil is a great addition to the side sauces. Definitely recommend all to go here.

The best meal I’ve had ever. Me and my partner love sushi and Japanese food, and this place was the best place I’ve ever been. The place is beautiful and clean, the food was fresh and the cocktails were insane. The atmosphere was also amazing even at 6pm. Our waitress, shay, elevated our meal. She was amazing, warm and some of the best service I’ve ever had. Will be returning again and again. Highly recommend.

Really delicious food in Caterham! The meat is cooked really well and the portion sizes are reasonable. Easily the best place to get take out in Caterham Valley. I recommend the Al Faham, the flavours are great. The Shawaya is a smaller roasted chicken which is more tender if you prefer that but less flavour. I’m also a big fan of the chicken wraps.

We regularly get the Al Faham chicken, it's delicious, healthy and reasonably priced. The staff are always friendly and the food is ready quickly.

The food was fresh and very quick at being delivered and very good value for money. The shawaya was delicious and a substantial portion. The chicken wrap wasn’t as good with a small amount of chicken on it but still tasty! Will be ordering again and trying burgers next time 😊

I ordered Chicken Grill and garlic bread the food was freshly made and glorious . Manager Khan was amazing with customer service and took time to tour me around the restaurant and explained how their food is being made.

The food was amazing as well as the drinks. There are also drinks for the younger ones. The service was also very nice and waiting time wasn’t long!

Really nice atmosphere, great service and excellent food. Caterham needed a grill place like this. It's also not too expensive, which makes it a winner. Great place to bring family and friends for a nice meal. Their orange juice was fresh as well. I really liked the decor and colour scheme.

My 1st time going here and 5 stars isn’t enough. Khan really looked after my friend and myself. The food was so fresh and the quality was outstanding. The service was exception. We always had what we needed without being bombarded. The atmosphere is perfect with great music playing without it being too much! We will be back! Thanks so much!!

What a beautiful setting for a drink/meal. It was lovely weather mind & the sunset was spectacular! We went for a drink which turned into a meal but was close to Closing the kitchen. The friendly staff accommodated us & we sat outside & had a beautifully cooked steak whilst taking in the lowering sun. It’s easy access for wheelchairs, large car park & there’s a very good sized garden for children to play in. They also allow dogs on leads. Would highly recommend this pub.

Best Sunday Roast ever. Superbly presented and incredible tasty. Succulent meat and a real Yorkshire pudding. Great atmosphere and good service. Jack was especially welcoming and friendly. We been several times and thought it deserved a mention.

We’ve been to this pub a few times. Standout is the service and the location, and just the beautiful building. The food is also really good. The ONLY thing I don’t like is the selection of beers/ciders on tap, they only serve the products of a local brewery. We always enjoy going and the kids love the garden. We will keep coming back.

I ate here before it closed down but it wasn't great. Tomato soup was too sweet and the bread was hard. So I can't speak for the change. But the staff are brilliant.

We had our work lunch here as a group of 5. The service was fantastic and the food delicious. Large portions and an absolutely fabulous lunch menu. I didn't manage to get photos of the food we had but I did get photos of our puddings.

We celebrated my wife’s birthday at SMOQUE, and it was fantastic! The food was amazing, with the chicken shish, lamb kebab, and lamb shank dishes standing out. Prices were average, but the experience was priceless. The staff were attentive and friendly, and they made my wife's birthday extra special by singing the craziest, most entertaining version of "Happy Birthday" ever! Highly recommend this place!

Food, service and atmosphere are all equally great. Great for family, friends, couple dinning out for special occasions or on any day. Toilet area is super clean. The place smell nice from the entrance likely because of the scented candles. 100%+ recommended.

So Saturday 30th November we had a surprise party for my son. The booking process was very straightforward and Kaye made it all sooooo easy for me. I was a little worried after reading some of the reviews especially having 33 people coming to dine in. I mentioned it to Kaye, She calmed me down and put my mind at ease. The party was sooooo amazing. Soooo happy I didn't allow the reviews to stop me from booking. The food was sooo good and to top it off the service was top notch. All the waiters were friendly but Canan went above and beyond. She made sure everyone was okay and really helped with the surprise element for my son coming up. This place was a HIT and can't wait to come back again!!!

Wonderful atmosphere, and truly blown away by the food. I’m a dedicated pizza lover and it’s so hard to find good pizza in the uk since being ruined by summer’s in Italy. The pizza here was so well balanced with fluffy, crispy thin dough.. nothing short of art! The service was amazing and we were made to feel so welcome. Truly a treat to eat here. Well done team .. can’t wait to come again!

We visited La Verde several times and we have never been disappointed! They always have very nice food and great customer service! The staff are super friendly and loads of parking for customers! The restaurant is very clean which creates a lovely atmosphere. Definitely recommend and will be coming again very soon! ☺️☺️⭐️⭐️

We turned up on a sunday early afternoon without a booking and the staff were super helpful to offer us a place to sit. The main restaurant area looked fully booked. Sat towards the back we had starters and main and the food took quite a while to arrive. Overall: Very good tasting pie and good portion for the Sunday roast. However the time it took took the edge off our hunger and a bit of the heat off the roast! We were really happy to head home as there was a bit if a draft where we sat, probably worth booking in advance

Came here for lunch the other day and we had a lovely meal. Really big and generous portion sizes! Food was delicious and fresh. Great location with a beautiful sunset. Would highly recommend this pub! Lovely staff Will be back!

Well done to the Chef and the whole crew for keeping this gem hidden for dining enthusiasts to discover and enjoy.... Try, among others, the sea bass, creme brulee and the cheese cake...

A special family owned and run restaurant, not one to miss if you live in Caterham, warm atmosphere and great food. Costa and Mina really look after you like family. I can highly recommend 😊

The food is gorgeous. Couple of issues with getting the order correct (veggie/meat mix up and drinks) but all sorted quickly and apologies given and removed from the bill. I cannot recommend more.

Stumbled upon what can only be described as a gem of a place. Friendly Spanish hosting from Sergio and his team. The food let's just say phenomenal and outstanding sum it up will be back for sure.

Food has been amazing, we chose 4 dishes and left feeling extremely satisfied and full. The cod was incredibly tasty and so were the croquettes. Our favourite dish was on the special menu-grilled scallops, they were not over powering and tasted sublime. The lychee martini was also a huge thumbs up. We can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu. We were dubious of the cost due to previous reviews but we think £123 for 4 incredibly flavoursome dishes plus 4 cocktails for the 2 of us has been perfectly reasonable. Thank you.

I’m so impressed! Had a lovely meal the Croquetas were to die for. Actually everything I ate was delicious baby quid, chicken in Spanish spices and the lightly fried aubergine and the fresh Tortilla. Georgie my server was so helpful suggesting wine and dishes. It’s a YES from me.

Had a lunch visit at The Medicine Kitchen today—service was stellar and lightning quick. The food? Perfectly cooked, juicy, and tender. Couldn’t have asked for a better meal! If you’re in the area, it’s a must-try spot.

Had the two-course lunch a a glass of Turkish wine. The food was delicious. They were very busy, always a good sign. Would definitely go back again.

absolutely brilliant ! from starters to desserts we enjoyed having dinner here. the ambience is really pleasant, especially since the interior is immaculately gorgeous🤩 the menu also has many many choices, therefore i struggled to pick just one haha!! however the salmon i ordered is so delicious, i would recommend it to anyone. and i must mention the staff as they are highly attentive & caring, constantly offering great service - thank you very much for making our visit highly enjoyable x
