“Amazing pub with rooms. We stayed in the Inn King Room number 2. Big cosy bed, small bathroom with powerful shower. Dinner and breakfast outstanding. The pheasant pie was incredible to share - most perfect pastry I’ve had! Cosy pub with fire and very friendly staff. Highly recommend for a getaway, lots of walks right from the door.”

“The roast dinner here is sensational. We’ve tried many in and around Surrey and a lot are overrated. Here the portion is generous with incredible flavours. We need their red cabbage and gravy recipe - wow!! We’ll be back!! Staff are all super helpful and friendly too”

“Great, middle of nowhere country pub. We visited today after our 6 mile hike. The pub is dog friendly, which was great for us as we had borrowed our friends dog for the day. Dog bowls located inside French doors in patio garden area, with a huge keg outside to fill them. Car park is spacious. Play area. Nice, clean restaurant and toilets. Food was served quickly and was presented beautifully, hot and with a friendly smile. Not overly priced, a lovely atmosphere and made to feel very welcome. We will return.”

“Brilliant place with a fantastic view and a playground for little ones. Service is fantastic very attentive. Food was beautiful, I've order chicken nuggets for my daughter for £7.50, portion was huge, and the actual nuggets were large pieces od breaded chicken breast with cheddar inside. All portions were large and super tasty, they're using local produce from Secretts farm. Just beautiful. Great experience all throughout.”

White Horse
The St, Hascombe, Godalming GU8 4JA, UK
Phone: 01483 208258
“My first visit to the White Horse but it will not be my last. It was a Tuesday lunchtime when I happened upon this pub. It looked welcoming from the outside and had a car park directly opposite (and another around the back apparently). I parked up and went inside. The pub was busy but not rammed so I took a stool and sat at the bar whilst I mulled over the good selection of ales and beers. It's a Youngs pub so I went for a pint of their 3.7% London Original which is a very quaffable session beer that slipped down a treat whilst I awaited the food I had ordered. I didn't have a long wait till it arrived and it was delicious. I look forward to trying something else on the menu. I went for open BLT sandwich which usually comes with fries (but I didn't want them on this occasion). Service came with a smile and I was made to feel very welcome. I shall be returning and have no hesitation it recommending it to others.”
