Went without booking a table for a birthday meal on a Thursday lunch time. During half term so there were a few tables but overall quiet. Staff were friendly and welcoming. I am lactose intolerant and Mums gluten free so the glass onion app makes viewing allergen info super easy. Was chuffed the fish and chips is dairy free! They’d run out of the vegan crumble but offered to make us a quick one but didn’t want to jeopardise the quality which was sweet of them to offer. Food was delicious, generous portions and arrived quickly and hot. Will definitely be back to try the crumble!
Food was so good, we only gave 4 stars because we felt the pizza was not worth the high price and the steak and ale pie meat was a bit tough but tasty. Eloise and Destiny served us and did a brilliant job. They made us feel welcome and were extremely attentive and efficient when it came to our needs.
Stopped here for lunch. Lovely location perfect for an afternoon walk after a delicious and filling lunch. We sat outside in the beer garden and had a little Robin join us for part of our meal. Calamari was great, loved the scotch egg, and the roasts were perfect. Good friendly service, would highly recommend.
We are great fans of The Fox, Coulsdon Common & would recommend it to everyone. We had delicious food (always is!) & were really well looked after by Destiny & Eloise. They were friendly, smiley & attentive without being intrusive. The atmosphere is warm & welcoming & it is dog-friendly, which is, to my mind, a winner. Come & try it….pub classics but with a high end twist.
The food was amazing! Very quick service and lovely staff especially Katie! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back!
