Great service from Mr Roy and food was authentically mauritian. He even went above and beyond to provide dishes outside the current menu. Really appreciated the warm atmosphere and the constant care for guests. Would easily rate this as the best Mauritian restaurant in the UK for the food at the present moment (after trying most of them)

I went to Roy’s kitchen on Saturday. We were about 14 adults and 5 kids. We had such a great time. They all enjoyed the food. The food was so delicious. The service was absolutely fantastic. Food was on time and the chef was commendable. Price was reasonable. I will definitely go there again and again. Can’t wait to go there again. Yummy and yummy food.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this wonderful place, and I was blown away by the quality of their dholl puri, gâteau banane, and napolitaine. It’s a must-try for anyone who appreciates authentic, flavorful street food.

The selection included savory 'sawmai'l, tender 'chou', flavourful 'theokon', succulent 'longue', and hearty 'viande'. Each bite was a delightful nod to the vibrant street food scene of Mauritius, transporting me back with its authenticity and freshness. Roy, the proprietor, is the epitome of reliability. His culinary craftsmanship is evident in every morsel, and I'm eager to persuade him to expand his repertoire with boulettes boasting the rich tastes of shrimp and lobster. The accompanying crushed chilli provided a zesty punch that invigorated the senses. A visit to the market also offered a heartwarming glimpse of the Mauritian flag, gracefully dancing in the gentle breeze—a beacon of the island's spirit in Croydon. A heartfelt thank you to Roy and family for this gastronomic journey. I eagerly anticipate my next visit for another taste of Mauritius.
