Popped in for lunch on the off chance at this quaint pub. I received a warm welcome from the landlord. The bar was reasonably busy and had a good atmosphere especially given it was a Thursday but with the affable landlords banter it was hardly surprising. I went for a pint of bitter from the Hoggs Back Brewery and a scampi and chips. All delicious and at very reasonable prices!
Very welcoming. They host lots of event. A real community spirit. Great gin selection and fabulous food. Dog friendly, parking and a garden. What more do you want?

Wonderful village pub, freindly staff and homely atmosphere. The food is cooked to a great standard and always a generous amount. Expecially the roast dinners!
