My daughter attended The Learning Academy for preparation for her 11plus, Kent test. The staff are professional, friendly and have a very calm and encouraging approach to teaching. My daughter enjoyed attending and received great result across all areas. Whilst there she grew in confidence, knowledge and self-belief. I highly recommend.

I highly recommend The Learning Academy. My daughter started attending at the beginning of Year 5 in preparation for her 11+ exam. She has so far benefited not only academically but her confidence is shining through. Having recently received a head teachers award at school for her maths work and since attending The Learning Academy is a subject she has gained much more confidence in. Review of Kumon Ashford south I decided to register my children into Kumon to prepare them for school. To introduce them to learning within a group, and Kumon did not disappoint, but the real reward of Kumon came during the pandemic when we had to home school, my children found learning from home very easy as they are used to doing their kumon work daily at home. As the effects of the pandemic lingers on, I am confident that my children are still learning to their full potential as they continue to do their Kumon learning in addition to their school work.

I will recommend Ashford Kumon South. Esther is an excellent instructor and pays attention to the needs of the children.

Alex got good results for his SAT exams. He was so happy and acknowledged the incredible contribution he got from the works of support from Kumon Math's and English lesson series. James from Potters Home Digital came to fit and set up our new Sonos Surround Sound System. Very polite ,very helpful - nothing too much trouble - highly knowledgable and a real pleasure to have in the house. The system was set up and running quickly and efficiently. Another great service from Potters. We wouldn't buy our TV's or other entertainment equipment from anyone else.

Incredible service and efficiency. Tevis and the team were great on my first visit, showed me around and inspired me on what I could achieve in my home. Saved me money on multiple occasions by not upselling or pushing, but instead giving me all of my options upfront. Will be heading back for a bigger project soon.

I cannot recommend Mary highly enough. We originally asked her to help our son with English Language because we were concerned that his grades were continually falling over time. However, her tuition also helped improve his English Literature work in the process, and they ended up being his two highest GCSE grades. Mary was friendly and professional throughout and we could see a noticeable improvement in our son’s ability and confidence in the subject from the start.

Mary has been amazing with our son. Her firm but compassionate approach has not only improved his grades drastically but his confidence has rocketed. He no longer dreads English lessons at school which is an amazing difference. Mary has also always contacted me with guidance and advice along the way to know how to best help him and how to communicate with the school. We are so grateful, thank you Mary 😁😁😁

My children are really enjoying their classes with Mary. They find her explanations clear & easy to follow. They love the notes she takes during the class. This helps them concentrate during the lesson and go back over things afterwards when they need to apply what they have learnt. Mary has a great balance of being warm and friendly yet firm enough that the children listen and know they are to take their studies seriously if they want to progress and achieve. Mary really knows her subject so well and we feel very blessed for our children to be learning from such a great teacher.

Having lessons with Mary has been really helpful. She is knowledgeable about the syllabus and what will be expected and has given concrete advice about how the children can improve their writing. I homeschool my daughter so it's great to have Nikki as an additional. Nikki's lessons are fun clear and enjoyable and Mila loves them.

My daughter starting doing lessons with Stocks Tuition at the beginning of Lockdown and we have continued on through the start of school. Nikki is lovely with my daughter and manages to keep her engaged through the lesson - I would highly recommend if your thinking of starting lesson.

Leesa tutored my daughter through statistics and maths GCSE. Despite having to get up early on a Saturday morning, my daughter very much enjoyed working with Leesa, who helped to improve her confidence and ability, supporting her to pass both subjects. Now keen to signing up child number 2!

Very approachable and flexible tutors with whom our daughters studied mainly maths during Years 10 and 11. They always listened to the girls' maths/science anxieties and gave them confidence. Their approach is to teach methods and offer exam practice so our daughters had lots of different types of help. Always happy to go over mock papers they had done in class. They really did make a difference to their grades.

Both my son and I were made to feel welcome on day 1. He went for the week long tutoring before the Kent test the week before the test itself. My son said he had a great time by the time Friday came and it didn’t feel like a school session at all they played games and had fun all through the week. After the test itself he stated he was so glad he had had this opportunity to practise as it made the test feel a lot easier. A weekly lesson has proved massively beneficial for my daughter. She started in September and, as I saw her confidence grow, and her Maths and English improve, we decided to continue for the rest of the school year. To our delight she was top in her year for maths homework, she was no where near this at the beginning. It was a real pinch myself moment! Her English too has improved, this extends into other subjects, making lessons all round better for her. She was not keen to go at first but as soon as she had her first lesson she was all in. Being attending for awhile for both learning math and japanese and defently must recommend as both Nicola and Alix teaching has been outstanding im learning a whole new language that i thought would be impossible to learn but over time its becoming easier to learn, with maths ive finally got a variety of skills that now im able to understand how different methords can help understanding algibra which is not my best subject. We would love to say a huge thank you to Rosie for the 11+ tutoring she gave our daughter Olivia who was very self conscious and reluctant at first to take on any form of tutoring. But signing her up was undoubtedly the best decision, Rosie was kind and welcoming and instantly made Olivia feel relaxed, her enthusiasm for teaching was so inspiring to see. Marolyn is an excellent tutor. My daughter came to her late in the year and was behind following lockdown. Marolyn quickly assessed where she needed help and worked hard to get her to level she needed to be at. Despite the short amount of time available Marolyn managed to successfully help my daughter to pass the Kent test. My 6 year old has now started with her as well. I would recommend her services 100%
