Tutor World really help my child, I tried others for lessons for the 11+ for my son. A rare find; if you are looking for a reputable tutor, I cannot recommend Sunnydene enough! I have complete faith in Jeni’s understanding of the system and test papers. I would highly recommend Jeni from Sunnydene! My daughter was preparing for the Kent test and my friend had recommended Jeni for Mock tests (we already had a tutor by this point). My son really enjoyed the sessions with Jeni and they gave him lots of confidence. By the time it came to doing the Kent test, he was looking forward to it. Jeni gave lots of helpful information to the children and adults on the process and what to expect. The opportunity for my son to do a mock kent test was really helpful too and put him at ease.

Richard has been great with my daughter. She isn’t the most confident mathematician but Richard has been working patiently with her and I am starting to see her confidence being to grow. I would definitely recommend Mr.C’s.

Mr C was an excellent tutor. He was very welcoming and my daughter enjoyed all her lessons with him. He made lessons fun for her - we still play some of the games he taught her - and he was very good at explaining topics that she found difficult. She retained all the information he gave her. He was happy to tailor classes according to her needs. He was also very generous in terms of his time and with work materials as well. I highly recommend him.

Rosie is an excellent teacher. She was very patient, gave the kids time to learn & understand things. Rosie did not only teach but she also encouraged the kids to do their best with her motivational speeches. My son learnt a lot, became confident in doing his homework, happy to attend his lessons, and finally got into his grammar school of choice. Vicky is such a talented tutor, my daughter had an English teacher at school that was focusing too much on the negative. She and my son had had lessons with Vicky before (in yr6) so I felt confident she’d be the perfect person to give my daughter (yr10) the boost she needed. She had weekly lessons with Vicky up until going through her GCSEs and the change in her attitude towards learning and also her confidence in her own abilities has been seriously dramatic in the last few months. Vicky has been a fantastic tutor for my daughter for 8 years right up to her GCSE exams. She tailored her lessons to my daughter's needs boosting her confidence. Fiona Cameron was incredible from the very first introduction. She spent time listening to our daughter to better understand what her capabilities and interests were. Fiona modified her approach and teaching style to suit our daughter which paid dividends. As the weeks progressed the creative writing that was being produced was so incredibly powerful and descriptive. Fiona was great at sharing her enthusiasm for her subject and always encouraging and engaging. I think it was particularly helpful that Fiona made a point of showing how thrilled she was at the results of our daughter’s efforts. I signed my daughter up to the kumon programme because she wasn’t very confident with Maths at school and I didn’t want her to dread her Maths lessons going forward. We have been at kumon for just over a year and she has just started Year 2 and loves Maths now and says it’s her favourite subject! I’m so pleased I made the decision to send her 😊 the Canterbury tutors are all really friendly and my daughter enjoyed going in to class every Saturday.
