Bella started 3 years ago and was struggling to grasp the fundamentals of addition, subtraction, multiplication and especially division. Her confidence was low and she would try and avoid maths questions at all costs. Starting slowly, Tony built up her confidence with the basics, and as she completed each stage, she moved onto the next level and built up her competency. She is now proficient in all of the basics. We enrolled our son in Kumon for maths since the last 4 months and we have seen a remarkable difference in his attitude towards studying. He is much quick in doing his calculations and loves challenges, which each level bring with it. He has always been a bright child but lacked the ability to sit and focus, as would get easily distracted. We have noticed Kumon has taught him routine and discipline in such short time and hope it continues this way. Tony Capozzi the instructor at the East Malling Centre, is very good in his ways in inspiring young kids at concentrating and doing their best especially boys. Teacher Paul is a Master of Teaching. My 13-year-old daughter is a big fan of Paul. One class in year 9 math made her realize how easy it is to grasp the essence of mathematical reasoning. One class on Victorian history inspired her to spontaneously commenced a interesting project of her own. She googled the Chinese chronology, did some research, and drew a series of clothing styles corresponding to each era. One month of preparation for the entrance exam gave her the opportunity to enter her dream school! It was teacher Paul who gave my daughter the confidence to make things happen.

Paul has been working with our daughter on maths GCSE for the past couple of months with the aim of getting her from a grade 2/3 to a grade 4. The progress she has made has been remarkably, we await to see what grade she gets, but I have no doubt had we had more time she would have been able to have got a grade 5/6. She really enjoyed the lessons and found the way Paul teaches maths made a very difficult subject seem normal. Paul showed an understanding and caring approach towards our daughter with the normal day to day pressures that a 15-year-old kid is under with exams looming. Tutor World really help my child, I tried others for lessons for the 11+ for my son.
