I moved in to a house with an existing solar installation. Unfortunately, the installers had decided to focus entirely on commercial installations so were not interested in helping me to get control of the system I’d taken over. I got in touch with a number of companies looking for help. House Rescue were superb – quick replies, excellent advice and friendly service. If I needed to have a new system installed or my existing system serviced, these are the guys I’d go to.

I was so pleased that I went with House Rescue for my solar install. The planning and communication was great and made complete sense, the instal itself was remarkably quick and smooth, Jack hand his team were professional, punctual and very hard working. Sharmin did an excellent job fixing our shower and replacing our old electric shower with a thermostatic one. Job was done in one day and he made a huge effort to not remove more tiling than was necessary. He was tidy and considerate and I would fully recommend him.

Danny did a great job. He was polite, personable, tidy and clearly explained an issue with an under cupboard light in the bathroom and searched diligently for the transformer, unfortunately with no success. The light remains halogen but he left the halogen bulbs from the 6 under cupboard lights in the kitchen, which are suitable for the kitchen light and will last a long time. An excellent job, very professionally executed and a company I will happily recommend to others.

Used Ellie's to replace a couple of sockets and fit two light fittings. Arranging the work was easy and the electrician was helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly. The work also ended up cheaper than the quote which was a lovely bonus!

Lloyd is probably the most professional, empathetic and thorough tradesman I have ever dealt with. His work and that of his team is consistently first class (I have used the company of a few occasions), his availability is extremely reasonable and he is always available to talk to on the phone. In addition, when my tenants had no power, he was on the phone sending videos and instructions to them at midnight and they were able to fix the problem in 10 minutes. Bravo, what a sensational business you run. I give at least 6 stars for Lloyd Hallowell Electrics!

Lloyd and his team did an absolutely fantastic job at our property. The booking system is extremely easy to use and you have full transparency on who is coming to do the work and how they are getting on with the journey. Communication with Lloyd was excellent throughout. He was very quick with responses at all hours of the day (including weekends) and always went out of his way to provide very detailed explanations of what kind of work needed to be done, why they were recommending it be done a certain way, etc. He gained our trust from the very first interaction and we were never disappointed. In terms of the actual work carried out, we first had an EIRC done which highlighted a lot of remedial work required, as the property we recently bought had been somewhat neglected in that respect. We discussed the results with Lloyd and got a very fair and practical recommendation on which items were important vs nice to have. In the end we decided to take him up on most of the work and that required multiple visits, but all was carried out seamlessly. The finished work is to a very high standard and we are overall very happy and would wholeheartedly recommend Lloyd and his team.
