We had a fantastic experience with Marcio and his team! It is rare to come across a company that is highly skilled, reliable, and trustworthy. They built and fitted new wardrobes, custom-made 2 alcove bookcases and several shelving units, repaired the staircase and built custom-made under-stairs storage. Moreover, their painter repaired internal walls and painted the entire house, he did an amazing job as well. I'm so glad we went for this company - they are perfectionists and their work is done to a very high standard. What I really appreciate is that they go above and beyond and communicate with you throughout the process: They send photos with updates, they ask questions to make sure they do the job exactly how you want it to be done, and they are thinking outside the box when something gets tricky. On top of that, they are reasonably priced and will suggest the most affordable option for you whenever possible. The moment you employ them they are on the ball, no chasing from our side ever. They are also super lovely to deal with, even our neighbours mentioned that everyone was very polite and quiet. I wouldn't hire anyone else for carpentry or decorating work. Marcio and his dad did an extraordinary job at our property, building and fitting two big wardrobes to perfection! From the very start, when Marcio first came round for a site visit, he was knowledgeable, professional and very communicative. His quote followed shortly, and then the works started and finished without any delays. The quality of craftmanship is stunning, we couldn't have asked for anything better than this! Excellent work by James and his team (Max, Chris and Attila). We had a number of custom units designed, built, fitted and painted by James Carpentry and we love them all! The team were punctual, polite, clean and have great attention to detail - they clearly take pride in their work. The quality and finish is excellent. It was a pleasure to have them at our home. We were impressed by how quickly they came round to do measurements, their patience with all our questions and the overall time it took to get everything done. Attaching some photos of their work! We had an alcove unit made for us and a full length wall fitted wardrobe. The whole team were fab - from the designs, to the door knobs, to how tidy and considerate they were building the units and their attention to detail. Very professional and friendly and excellent quality.

Update October 2021: We liked our custom shelves/cabinets so much that we had James Carpentry return to install fitted wardrobes in the bedroom (blue wardrobes pictured below). Once again, they did an amazing job and it looks brilliant. Installation and painting was once again done very professionally and in a clean and timely manner. July 2021: We recently bought a flat which didn't have much storage space in it, but had two large alcoves in the living room. After a search of local carpenters, I came across James Carpentry. It is an amazing business and they were so professional from start to finish. Very prompt to answer the initial enquiry and to take measurements/send the designs. During installation and painting, they were very careful to ensure no mess was created/left behind and did a beautiful job. We originally wanted to have completely symmetrical shelves but on installation day they showed us a few options and we ended up liking the asymmetrical style more - which they accommodated! We are so pleased with the final result and will definitely be using James Carpentry again - already put in an enquiry about bedroom storage!

Mark built new cupboards, shelves and a wrap-around desk transforming a small bedroom into a fully fitted office. His communication about the design and schedule for the building work was excellent. I can’t recommend GR Carpentry enough. Even with drawings and conversations about what we envisioned, somehow the final result was even better! George and Andy did an amazing job of building and installing a large media cabinet in our open plan kitchen/living room. Their work was of the highest quality and the result was better than I had even hoped. The unit has transformed the space and I love seeing it as I walk into the room. George and his team did a fantastic job on totally replacing all of our decking in 2021. I had a rough idea of what i wanted which George implemented to perfection and with great advice and direction, and 3 years on our decking is still fantastic with no issues. I've also had George to build cupboards in the garage which again he delivered perfectly. Highly recommend.

I asked Ryan to install a shed, what he did was above and beyond the call of duty, he removed two tons of soil and a load of other trash. Installed a perfect shed on an imperfect base, negotiated wonderfully with a tenant and project managed a waste collection job. Honestly I should have paid him more. He’s brilliant.

Ryan was recommended to us, and he certainly lived up to that recommendation. There were 6 of us in the block and he completed all the new fire door installations very efficiently, with patience and friendliness. He gave us good advice re requirements and kept in touch during the whole process of ordering right through to installation. Thoroughly recommend Ryan.

Ryan and Lewis did a fantastic job installing two new interior doors, adjusting four others, and adjusting, draughtproofing and installing a new lock on the front door. Ryan has a great reputation and is in high-demand, so lead times before work starts can be long. However, once the team starts work they are tidy and efficient and the work is high quality. We had one follow-up issue with the front door being too tight, and Ryan returned to fix the problem within two days of contact. Overall fantastic service and highly recommend.

I found Orchard Carpentry via Trust a Trader website. Ryan communicates extremely well and has over delivered on the quality of the projects I asked for. Ryan provides a thoughtful and detailed service, considering all issues and resolving. He produced custom made shelving for two rooms and his attention to detail is second to none. My wife and I are very happy indeed. The price was very fair too, not cheap but not expensive. We will be using Ryan for our kitchen refit, within the next few months, as well as any other carpentry requirements. I wholeheartedly recommend Orchard Carpentry.

Jason did an amazing job on our kitchen, he was super helpful and responsive from the very first interaction, assisting us through the process with Howden’s and providing a competitive price. We asked Jason for a quote to replace our kitchen worktops and install a new sink. He replied very quickly and started 5 days later. He did an excellent job, took everything away and tidied up afterwards. The worktops were very dark and now we have a lovely bright kitchen. We highly recommend Jason.

Jason has just finished fitting our kitchen for us and has done an amazing job - he is clearly a perfectionist as the fit is flawless. His communication from the point of booking has been great, and on the two days of fitting he helped to problem solve a couple of issues with the kitchen design. A fantastic job carried out by Chris Carpentry and his team - I live in a Victorian cottage in Twickenham and needed all my timber windows replacing. Their attention to detail and pride in their work was exemplary - the windows in my property are in character with the neighbours windows and had to match exact. Communication was very good, from measuring to completion. Chris and his team were efficient, friendly and professional, their willingness to go the extra mile to ensure everything was perfect for us. Chris has replaced most of the windows (copying original Victoria sash windows). He also made beautiful extra high windows for our remodelled kitchen / dining room. All his work is of the highest quality and we are thrilled with the results. The new windows have also made all the difference to the insulation of the house.
