We had a complete stair removal and new staircase installed. Alex was brilliant, very professional, kept in touch throughout the whole process and was a joy to have in our home. Each day everywhere was tidied up before he left. We are very pleased with our new staircase and have had lots of compliments about it. Thank you so much, Alex. Ours was not the easiest of staircases to install, it being an old house with walls not very straight, but Alex sorted everything out with ease. I would definitely recommend Alex to anyone wanted a new or refurbished staircase.

Alex converted a probably non compliant dark staircase into the focal point of the house. We love the new stair and the balustrading and it's transformed the house. Alex's attention to detail is fantastic, he does a lot of research and prep to make sure you understand what you're getting and explains the options at each step. He's also a very talented carpenter. Top job, great value.

Upgraded my open plan stairs to closed stairs. He did a superb job and I am really pleased. First class craftsmanship Would highly recommend.

I cant reccomend modernise your stairs enough. They have been a pleasure to work with from start to finish. As you can see in the photos they have installed an oak staircase with glass panels and i am made up with how it turned out. The lads doing the job were always on time, very proffesional, respectful and always left after cleaning up and leaving it in a safe and tidy condition. If your at all considering modernise your stairs for a job i would 100% reccomend them. They have a great show room aswell to pick out exactly what you want.

Matt came on the day in question to measure the staircase. Came back with an acceptable price and arrangements were made to fit it. The two fitters turned up on time and finished the job in the allotted time. Really nice guys and good workers. Would recommend TJ joinery in a heartbeat

Bought brand new doors from TJ Joinery in January and everything in the whole process was simple from ordering to arranging a date for installation and the work was completed to a high professional standard.
