At last a garage you can trust. The owner Steve is a very pleasant, helpful chap who knows his cars inside out. He has a wealth of knowledge due to a lifetime of experience in engineering. He performed a cambelt and water pump change on the Audi for a great price and squeezed it in at short notice. I can highly recommend Goldsmith's Garage, a true professional.

100% recommend jake after i messed up my car after me snapping hard brake line gave jake a call which i could nt get through he called me bk listened to my problem ordered parts needed came out to me on my drive fabricated new brake pipe fitted new discs calipers and pads bled whole system gettin me bk on the road within a couple hours all other garages quoted a hell of alot more and could nt fit me in for two to three weeks very proffesional and knowledgeable mechanic will be using again for sure thanks jake your a legend

Our motorhome broke down in France six months ago and had to be transported back to the UK, once a transporter driver was finally found (two months later.) It was taken to a main dealer in the area, who messed us about for another two and a half months before finally saying they couldn't fix it. A friend told us to try Thompsett Kent and we're so glad they did. Friendly, helpful, completely professional, they diagnosed the problem, ordered the parts and did the repair in two weeks! Thank you so much. We'll definitely be back for any other work that may need to be done in the future.

We've used Thompsett before as they are one of the few that can manage a large Fiat based motorhome (Fiat commercial main dealers tend to be a waste of time for this stuff). Ownership has recently changed hands but I'm happy to say that the quality and helpfulness of the team remains at the same high standard. A niggling problem with the turbo that two Fiat garages couldn't resolve has now been fixed and it's like driving a new van. The bill for the fix was less than Fiat charged to tell us they couldn't find the problem.

The work done on my car was of an excellent standard, but that what you expect. What you dont expect (or often receive) Is the level of customer support that I received from Adan, Phil and Hannah. When I had trouble getting a hire car from my insurance company (despite the accident being the 3rd party's fault) These guys stepped up and help sort me out a suitable replacement. They also gave me a ride home when I dropped off my car. Really friendly and helpful at all times. Totally recommend.

Spoke to Tom about my car making an awful sound. Got me booked in exactly when I wanted to be and fixed it all within 7hours. Replaced my clutch and a few other bits and even showed me the old parts that they took out of my car and I was beyond impressed. Excellent customer service very welcoming environment especially as a woman going into a mechanic it can be quite daunting personally speaking but I felt comfortable. Booked in for my MOT and service and I won’t be using anyone else. 10/10

What a great find. I needed a couple of front tyres urgently so a quick google search brought Elite to my notice. They were the cheapest and could fit the same day. The guys there were really friendly and helpful, the waiting area was warm and comfy. I will definitely use them again and would highly recommend anyone else to do so.
