Amazing service, around 1pm as my brakes had been worked on by another garage and I had lost my brake pedal twice since the work! They managed to squeeze me in that day and had the car back to me and running perfect by the end of the day! Incredible customer service and so helpful!

I have to say these guys provided me with amazing service when I asked them to replace my tired engine in my 2008 Astra 1.3 CDTI Van. They talked me through the process, quoted me for the job and promptly collected the van. They took the time after the replacement engine was fitted to ensure everything was good and back it came 100% perfect at exactly the quoted price despite a small extra job popping up during the swap. The van was transformed by the work and is back to driving as new with amazing mpg and power again, far better value than buying a replacement 'unknown' van. The van is coming up to 5000 miles and it's first service since the work was done and it hasn't missed a beat, I can't recommend these guys enough and will use them again and recommend to friends not to go anywhere else. On top of that they really are good honest people doing a very good job indeed, don't go anywhere else for your Vauxhall repairs, honestly I doubt you'll find better quality work and great service.

Recently had my car MOT'D and serviced by this garage. I couldn't fault them at all. I had a small fault happen yesterday, and today, with no appointment, they put it through some checks for me. The owner (sorry didn't take your name), explained all about it to me and didn't even charge. Being a woman, you often feel like you could be 'ripped off,' as they say but these men are brilliant and I'll have no hesitancy to use them long term. Highly recommended.

Excellent service from these guys yesterday. Called in to see if they could repair a puncture on my van that I had just picked up around the corner. You could hear the air hissing out of the tyre. They repaired it straight away despite already being busy with other vehicle repairs. They had me back on the road in less than 30 minutes. I would 100% recommend this garage. Polite, friendly & professional. What more could you ask for?

Absolutely incredible. All I can say is this garage in Wigan is amazing and extremely honest. So glad I read the reviews. We passed them one of our customers cars who broke down in a volvo c70 just after new years day...and was given 13th Jan 2025 for an inspection every garage was booked or closed , I was worried as we are not from wigan which garage to send the customers car too ...Athertons was recommended to us ..and Athertons gave me details of a reliable recovery chap the car was collected on same day for a reasonable amount and it was delivered to John Athertons garage , they took time to look at it on same day and repaired it ...the lady at reception was so professional made me feel at ease and John asked me what was wrong with the car and sounded very honest and sincere. What could have ended a drama ended in a great result..fact they looked at it on the same day was appreciated. Very reasonable on charges. Myself, my husband and my Dad have been taking our cars here for years! I've been for services, winter check ups, MOTs and the odd repair. They are fantastic! All the staff we've interacted with have always been so lovely. They have been great with any repairs needed. Even great when things I've freaked out about and thought something might be wrong but wasn't! They could have ripped me off on these occasions but they didn't. Instead they have explaind what they checked and what they did. Any questions I've asked have been answered and explained clearly and shown whatever it is they are talking about. Honestly, I can't say a bad thing about them. Our family have been to our fair share of garages in the past and had awful experiences, so to find Woodside was a god send! Definitely 5 stars!!

Bought my car on Thursday. Had it ready to drive away on Saturday. Nothing to much trouble. Phoned the Post office to check it was open so as I was able to tax it with my Disabled allowance. I am that pleased with the service they provide. That I will continue to use them for my annual service. Even though I live in Shropshire. Fantastic service. The owner put on 4 brand new tyres without being told or asked to do so. They made sure the vehicle was ready to drive away. They didn't push for the documents to be signed and spent time talking to us. Will highly recommend Woodside Motors to friends and family.
