Moose Coffee

āWe (American & Brit living in MCR) brought our American visitors to Moose Coffee for Brunch last week before heading out on a busy day of a Manchester walking tour. We all enjoyed our coffee drinks and hearty brunch although a bit disappointed we couldnāt make the slightest substitution (canāt add cheese to eggs - which is very American btw). Nonetheless, the food arrived hot and tasty and we were not rushed at all, which was a nice feeling. My husband especially enjoyed the Bronx Brunch and singled out the hash as being particularly delicious and I thought the side of avocado was ripe and delicious and the portion was enough to share with 3 of us. The staff are friendly, decor is fun and the vibe is cool. We all enjoyed ourselves and weād recommend to others but definitely make reservations if youāre going on a weekend or lunch as thereās limited seating. Busy busy on a Tuesday afternoon so imagine weekends! Not as āAmericanā as advertised but streaky bacon so we were happy. Overall a nice place for good, fresh food and good coffee in Manchester, and very clean too.ā

Evelyn's
44 Tib St, Manchester M4 1LA, UK

āI recently visited Evelynās in Manchester and enjoyed their vegan zattar mushrooms. The dish was flavorful and well-prepared, making it a solid option for vegan diners. However, I was a bit disappointed that the vegan version is priced the same as the regular option, even though it doesnāt include the egg. Adjusting the price to reflect the reduced ingredients would be a fair improvement. That said, Evelynās is a lovely spot to catch up with a friend, especially in the colder months when its warm and cozy atmosphere is particularly inviting. Despite the pricing quibble, itās a great place to relax and enjoy a meal.ā

200 Degrees Coffee Shop & Barista School
75 Mosley St, Manchester M2 3HR, UK

āFirst, let me start with something unusual, which is a barista school. There is a coffee roaster. I expected the coffee to be like any other specialty coffee, but it wasn't anything like that except for the professionalism of the coffee art. The taste of carrot cake is slightly devoid of cinnamon flavor. Service is slow, with only two baristas working the cashier and making coffee. The cafe's atmosphere is terrific and carefully designed to create a unique experience. The prices are great as I got two flat whites and a carrot š„ cake for only Ā£10. I recommend visiting the professional cafe. My review is subject to the time and place I came at, which was 10 am on a Saturday. What I don't like, you might like, unlike me, so I invite you to try the cafe.ā

ālove this place, one of the only places in Manchester with a comfortable reading space too. it's laptop free which amazingly i keep seeing people kick off about (you could either go in the huge main area rather than the laptop free zone or ANYWHERE else in manchester rather than ruining the only laptop free space and making everything about you and forcing everywhere to be the same š„°) but yeah, great here.ā
