We had an amazing family meal at Vault 2 - Bar & Bistro today for my wife’s birthday! 🥳 Food was amazing (adults had the lamb shank or roast chicken and kids had chicken tender) 🍗 Clean plates all round! 🍽️ Cocktails went down a treat and the pour a good Guiness too! 🍻 🍹 Great service from the team! Special mention to Vicky…. Because she asked us too 😉 🧾
The owners have done an incredible job with the decor. It is what I’d describe as ‘eclectic cool’! The staff are fantastic and I think the area really needed something like this as there aren’t many wine bar type places like this around and as such, it doesn’t attract riffraff! They tend to walk in out of inquisitiveness and immediately turn round and walk out again. It’s not huge inside…more ‘intimate’, but the tables aren’t crammed together. I would 100% recommend booking in advance if you are eating (and you really should), since I think there are only about 12/13 tables. The menu is absolutely perfect. Whilst not a huge menu, it is very clear that the chef and team have carefully considered their selection and absolutely mastered the dishes that they offer. Quality over quantity all day long here. It’s so good that I booked for 2 Saturday nights on the bounce! Absolutely rivals all the flashy and expensive places in Manchester City Centre. Try it. You won’t be disappointed.
Immaculate food, It was one of those meals that you think about days later it was that good. We had the pate, aranchini and pork bites to start and then duck and a steak all were presented beautifully and were really tasty. Couldn't fault it and I could write a massive review on the food and the whole place but honestly just go you won't be disappointed.
Absolutely love this place! Went in for a drink on Saturday evening, looked at the menu and came for Sunday morning breakfast. Spot on! Food was amazing, staff are all so lovely, friendly and helpful, especially Daisy who looked after our Terence too with doggy treats. We will be back for a Sunday dinner soon.
The staff are amazing, super friendly and helpful. Food, well it's a small menu so you expect everything to be good but it's much better than good! We had honey & chilli pork belly, ribeye steak, 1 flattened with rocket and parmesan salad, absolutely 1st rate ,2 empty plates!😍 It was a Wednesday so atmosphere a little quiet but not enough to put us off.
