Finally got to come here (a few weeks ago) and it was so so worth the hype! I loved all of the seafood pasta options on the day, and our star of the show was definitely the Italian fennel with anchovies parpadelle it was so so good. I feel like this place really does pasta well without trying to be trendy or by reinventing the wheel unlike some other pasta bars in Manchester. But this is not to say that the food was ‘boring’ it was far from that, everything we had was clearly made with so much care. They were always very accommodating with my friend asking to take out dairy on certain dishes which was really appreciated Also the prices were super reasonable, with the options for smaller or larger plates. We got 4 small plates (see photo for portion sizes) and it was more than enough we couldn’t finish it all. The only thing is it’s kinda hard to get to due to location but it is worth the trip out!
We were very lucky to get a last minute (cancellation) slot, and what a treat it was. A warm welcome from Rebecca and a delightful service from the team. All the hype is really around the food and it didn't fail to impress, the first forkful made me go wow! Portion size, I would stick with smaller size, The cocktails were good too, all in all it deserves the reputation and the long wait for a booking.
This is a popular restaurant, and I had to make a reservation three months in advance. The place is small but has a pleasant atmosphere, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. My family and I ordered steak, mushroom ravioli, and carbonara – all of which were absolutely delicious. We then ordered some desserts, which did not disappoint either. The prices and portion sizes were reasonable, allowing my family and me to enjoy a wonderful lunch. I’ve seen reviews saying that this is one of the best Italian restaurants in Manchester, and I believe that’s no exaggeration.
Fab italian!!! The flavours blew me away! I dare say the best in Manchester?! The Nduja arancini with hot honey was to die for! Already trying to book the next meal the day I finish eating there!
