A gem in Didsbury – coffee lovers, this is your spot! Mercado Café in Didsbury is an absolute must-visit for anyone who appreciates high-quality coffee. The staff here are true coffee experts, and it shows in every cup. Whether you’re a connoisseur or just enjoy a great brew, you’re in for a treat. The atmosphere is just perfect—cosy, warm, and welcoming, with soothing music that complements the overall vibe. It’s the kind of place where you can unwind, relax, or even have a chilled beer or a nice cocktail. The customer service is outstanding. They truly get to know you and even remember your preferences, always going above and beyond to make you feel at home. The food options are excellent as well. I personally loved the Mi Cubanito Focaccia Panini, with pulled pork, ham, and cheese and the empanadas. Plus, if you speak Italian or Spanish, you'll find friendly conversation flowing easily.

Usually come here in the day - always serving amazing coffee and handmade pastries. Recently came for the jazz night - gorgeous atmosphere, drinks and hand-carved serano ham. All staff are so lovely and friendly! Highly recommend here

Great drinks and great food = great mood! I always think customer service makes a place and the team are always very accommodating to requests and preferences for drinks and owner Victor is happy to make you one of his own creations from his repetoire. Lots of tasty food to pick from, I love the empanadas and the bocadillos. The vibe is friendly and homely. A thumbs up from me !

As a Colombian living in UK always try to find the places where I can find food from home, and this place really touched my heart; victor is such a nice Venezuelan Guy who save the last arepa for me. If you’re away from home or wanna try something from Latin America you should go. Also the pistachio cafe really impressed me.

My side ting and I, came to Didsbury and smashed an Indian at the great Kilimanjaro, despite this we still managed to find space for fried bread and grapes, a random welcomed dish but we loved it. The cocktails were stupendous, the best we had ever had, and the live music made for sexy chilled vibes. The trap door behind my ting was a wonderful escape (see photo). I can’t wait to take more dates here. Would 100% recommend to anyone as weird as me x
