My first time eating here, food was excellent, homemade (definitely was) steak pie delicious, lots of home cooked chips, best pub chips I have had, peas and carrots. Portion size very generous, didn't have room for dessert. Lovely meal, a gem of a pub, will definitely be back for more and won't hesitate to recommend 😀
Lovely welcome, dog friendly, sausages and water brought to our table. Family get together, all our food very tasty and good value. Such nice staff. Definitely recommend.
1st time visit, but hopefully not the last. Lovely atmosphere in the pub, and the food couldn't be faulted, we enjoyed the Sunday roast both for quality, size and price. 0nly negative (and not a major one,) was that the pub is cash only. There is an ATM over the road.
Me and my wife are in the royal. We have ordered two separate meals. Both arrived at the same time. The food in both meals are cooked to perfection all home cooked. And fresh. Highly recommend.
Good food and decent prices! Friendly staff too!
