I recently visited Bar Etna in Altrincham with my friend R., and it was an absolutely delightful experience! I enjoyed a refreshing Goji tea and a delicious raviola, a typical ricotta sweet that was simply divine for breakfast (I suggest sicilian cannoly as well). Chiara, the owner, was incredibly charming and friendly, making us feel right at home. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and I particularly loved how family-friendly the place is—great for kids too! I highly recommend Bar Etna for a cosy and welcoming breakfast spot. But as well lunch for sandwiches and dinn and dinner. I also just discovered they may do catering as well for celebrations! Finally found an authentic italian near to home. The menu is small but each dish takes me back to sicilly. Highly recommend the spinach & ricotta ravioli and also the pasta etna, with a kick of Nduja. My daughter had lasagne which has a rich beef ragu. Well deserved of the current 5 star rating.

Fantastic little Italian place, the food is delicious I had the pistachio pancetta pasta and it was fabulous. Hubby had the cheese & tomato ragu filled pasta which was stunning, breads and cheese for starters were really tasty the chilli cheese was yum! Desert was really good too, kinder stuffed donut and pistachio cannolli, all freshly made, the restaurant had laid back family vibes, even a kids small play area with a few toys and books in its perfect for date night or if you can't get a babysitter take the smalls along with you! Will definitely be visiting again 😘

Very welcoming and top quality food & drinks. We were with our 5 month old baby and dog. It’s a great vibe with such a variety of customers and people we met. The staff were very helpful with picking the best things on the menu. We had a lovely lunch, some of the best Italian authentic food we have eaten in Manchester.

Etna is an absolute treasure! 💎 We visited as a group of four and felt warmly welcomed from the moment we walked in. The arancini was hands down the best I’ve ever tasted—crispy, golden, and packed with flavor. The pasta dishes were perfection, each one a delicious masterpiece! And the desserts? Simply heavenly! The tiramisu was so rich and delicious, and the cannoli, filled with creamy ricotta, felt like a little taste of Sicily. The warm atmosphere and attentive service made the evening even more special. A truly unforgettable meal—we can’t wait to return! 🎉
