Joy and Nigel's food is to die for. How lucky I am to have such a lovely pub and small restaurant so close to home. The homemade chips rank as among the best I've ever experienced – actually, they are the best. The burger patties are wonderful and are obviously also homemade – everything is. If you are planning to stop for food at a busy period on the weekends, I would strongly advise calling ahead to avoid disappointment as the building is fairly compact and when busy can fill extremely quickly.
Drove by this pub so many times..... Finally went in on a Saturday night. What a lovely quaint place with warm, friendly staff... Will definitely go again in the near future.
Hopefully Nigel (Landlord) gets a clean bill of health soon, and brings back their full menus which is absolutely delicious food. All reasonable prices 🤗👍
A nostalgic Public House with a modern outlook,retain architecture of the passed.wonderful friendly ambience surroundings and clean .Mine host Nigel,Joy,and Lucy exceptional and made you welcome.Excellent beers and largers at a inexpensive price.Worth a visit and more, we did and travelled from Somerset.
