I recently visited this cafe for breakfast, and I was thoroughly impressed with the experience. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, making it the perfect spot to start your day. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that I felt welcome from the moment I walked in. Amazing breakfast ❤️❤️❤️

This is a lovely little cafe, great food, service and atmosphere. Staff are all very welcoming and friendly. I had a look on Google for five star cafes in bolton and what a great find this little cafe is. The cafe can get very busy and sometimes is better to book to guarantee a table :) I have seen a review on here about an assistance dog not being allowed inside and I completely agree with this decision due to the cafe only being a small business and having a open kitchen where food is prepared and cooked in front of you. I understand that assistance dogs are to help people with the guidance they need, but i personally wouldn't like them to be in such a small cafe where food is prepared and cooked in front of the customers.

What a great find this little cafe is breakfast was out there with the best I’ve ever been served everything was spot on especially the hash browns which a lot of cafes can’t seem to ever get right , great atmosphere and deco ,my go to when in Bolton from now on .

HIDDEN GEM ALERT. Honestly unbelievable brownies/blondies and cakes. Had a tasty veggie sausage bap and a yummy gingerbread latte will be coming back for some of the sausage rolls/bakes as they looked unreal too. Staff are lovely too which is a bonus!

We came to this popular spot at a quiet time and had a wonderful experience. Staff were lovely and food was great too. I love the decor and the candles, created such a nice atmosphere. I highly recommended the desi breakfast and chai, we will definitely be coming back again!

Lovely place with lovely food. Staff is very kind, atmosphere is very peacefull and relaxing. Had a Full English Breakfast with chicken sausages and lamb rashes and it was amazing. Definitely recommend it

Excellent café! I had a car in the garage (Woodbine motors) and was recommended Chico as a place to have breakfast while I waited. Food is halal, freshly made and very well cooked. Got busy so obviously popular.

Had a girly brunch date! 1000% be back, amazing customer service. I had Desi omelette and cardamom coffee. Was able to cater to my fussy needs and let me even go off menu!! Delicious food, quick service and cute atmosphere too. Thanks Cafe Chico 🥰

Asked for a delivery for a big breakfast and it was unbelievably good quality food and so delicious and very well packaged. Staff were very friendly on the phone and very helpful. Guy who delivered was friendly in person too. Will definitely order again.

Fantastic homemade food. Today, i had the Spanish chorizo, with poached eggs, grilled mushrooms, peppers, and feta cheese on sourdough. It's probably the best cafe in Bolton. All good quality food.

Never knew this existed, first time visit today but won't be the last, beautifully situated , plenty of parking, lovely food and great ambience, would definitely book before going as busy.

Lotties is a proper little gem, the staff are great and service is always with a smile. The food is great quality and good servings. Drinks are fantastic. The setting is perfect with great views. Definitely a must if you're in the area.

Parking is a little limited so be mindful but we sat out in the sunshine & the food/service was great. Payment is only electronic, no cash though.

First time as just started working in Adlington. Portions are good sized and freshly made as well as being reasonably priced. I had a cheese sandwich with a side order of double-cooked chunky chips and a pot of tea for under £10. Enjoyed itand would definitely go again.

Really nice cafe. Staff all friendly and the food is lovely. My partner has been off work with an injury and on crutches and the staff went above and beyond to help her and made her feel very welcome.

I visit Luciano's regularly to meet up with friends. I have enjoyed coffee only, breakfast and lunches. The staff are really friendly and attentive. Food and coffee always delicious. Good price range. Must try an evening meal here soon!

We dined here last week, a small group of 4. Food and service was excellent. Maurizio was very attentive, toping up wine glasses and checking in. We shared the Platter, a delicious mix of starters. I had the gnocchi with lamb which tasted amazing. We all felt very looked after and you can tell the staff really care about their job and making customers happy. Would definitely return and recommend.

Visited here on the 22nd October 2024. It opened at 9am and there was a small queue waiting at 8:45am when we arrived. Upon opening, we were warmly welcomed and the place gradually started to fill up with a nice vibe. Both myself and my work colleague had breakfast and coffees. Food and drink was excellent, well presented and good quality. Staff were friendly and attentive, but not over bearing. It will definitely be my go to place on further visits to Bolton.

Lovely visit today with my parents. Dad is in a wheelchair so I pooped my head in first to check the access and the staff went out of their way so help us and show the accessible entrance. The inside is really well decorated, plus you are surrounded by lovely golf course. The food was lovely. But it’s the staff that made our visit, so friendly, helpful and efficient. We just had breakfast today but will be back to sample the lunches and cakes. It’s also dog friendly so I’ll bring my furry friend next time

I attended a wedding at The Hawthorns last weekend as the couple’s Master of Ceremonies. The welcome, support & kindness shown to me from Dawn, Amy & their team was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. They were attentive, provided a super service to my wedding guests and went above and beyond to ensure the bride & groom had a perfect day. Thank you also to the Head Chef & his hardworking staff in the kitchen. Delicious dishes, well presented and piping hot! I even had the opportunity to sample the vegetarian main course. It was sumptuous and plentiful. The whole experience for all the suppliers and guests was truely memorable and enjoyable. I would highly recommend The Hawthorns as the ideal wedding venue. Beautiful gardens, relaxed atmosphere, comfortable event space, approachable, delightful managers and staff. Looking forward to returning. ❤️🌟

Been a couple times now, really nice service and atmosphere. Your basic cafe food but cakes are really good. Just wish it wasn’t at quiet, would like to try afternoon tea here.

Great little coffee shop, had half an hour to kill and popped in for a quick snack. Ham, cheese and mushroom toastie with salad together with a large latte. Saw the fresh pastries and couldn't help but get a strawberry danish.

MUST VISIT. We chose this place from the Google reviews and were very impressed. Moumita is a brilliant host, very welcoming and beautiful. We had the full breakfast one small one big. Perfectly sized, the ingredients are all locally sourced, traditional butchers sausage and bacon, bury black pudding 👌 and fully free range farm eggs, bakery toast. Moumita Cooked it all perfectly and in good time. Lovely tea coffee. It’s the best English breakfast I have ever had… and I have a lot. Will definitely be calling again. Don’t miss out! It’s that good 👌

When you are the world’s most awkward customer like me — GF, dairy free and no caffeine — it really gets on my pip when I am charged extra through the nose for alternative milk, decaf coffee and shots of syrup. One place that shall remain nameless charged me £1 for a shot of vanilla syrup recently. I was a bit miffed. I am pleased to say the Cowshed has the cheapest and one of the nicest coffees around. £3.30 for me. £2.50 if you are normal :-) And you can order from the outside, they have a very cute hole-in-the-wall style window hatch. Engaging staff. Lovely light venue that certainly adds a bit of brightness to the Horwich. Can I have an udder please?

Just got home from Christmas afternoon tea. We’ve had a fabulous afternoon with delicious food & were well & truly looked after by the ladies. Would definitely recommend. I’ve had breakfast & lunch here recently & the food is always delicious- I’ll be back!!
