Lovely coffee shop in the village run by lovely people. We go here several times a week and the coffee is great. Well worth a visit if your in the village.
My first time in French Press. We called in because of the remembrance service. It was extremely busy but the lady at the till although looking a little stressed was extremely helpful and very welcoming. Her boss I'm assuming was working behind her doing the coffees and again made us feel very welcome. It was a lovely atmosphere. We had toasties which were nice and then finished off with cake which there was a huge selection of. The lady at the till was apologetic to everyone as she served the drinks in between serving at the till and warming through toasties, which I thought was very good customer service but the wait was understood in my eyes considering how busy it was. I will definitely be calling in again. Cracking little coffee shop, lovely staff, great food, amazing cakes and great atmosphere.
Really friendly place always feel welcome when we come! Isn't too loud or bright/ dark. The cakes are amazing, and when we asked about vegan food options were met with a list of things the owner could pull together to make sure I had some lunch. Really considerate staff and really welcoming- coffee & hot chocolate is always hot and we leave feeling very satisfied.
The best coffee on the high street, the mocha is perfect. The breakfast is super with fresh ingredients. All the staff are warm and friendly. Definitely our go to coffee shop.
