Absolutely beautiful Sunday roast. Starters were fabulous, couldn't fit in a pudding! Maybe next time. Even boxed up my leftovers for me to take home. Perfect

Had late Sunday lunch there 8th Sept, staff was so helpfull, as I didnt book was working near there, gave us a warm welcome with oustanding service, food was excellent. will return.

Fantastic place for food. We booked as a group of 10 last minute and had the Christmas menu. The choices were good and the food all arrived together. Everyone enjoyed their meal immensely would definitely recommend.

Went last night for a meal with family who are up from Devon. I cannot find fault with any part of it. The food is absolutely spot on and as good as anything I've previously dubbed the best pub food I've had. I had the black pudding scotch egg with marmite roasties to start and it was absolutely beautiful, the egg in the centre was soft set as well which is an extremely nice touch. Mains wise the ribeye steak was amazing! As were the chunky chips and the bhaji accompanying piece which was unusual but absolutely worked. Nobody had a bad word to say about any part of the meal and the portion sizes are large. Also I have to specifically mention the ladies waiting the table (sorry I didn't ask for your names) who were funny and friendly and really made us feel welcome. Top marks!
