Right from the outset, Simon was completely professional but most importantly efficient and came immediately to do a site check of the venue to ensure a tailor made perfect setup of the marquee on the wedding day! It really was a stunning and perfect marquee. He always got back to us for our queries straight away and to top it all of, his prices are extremely competitive but without compromising on a fantastic service. I’ve got to say, one of the best decisions me and my husband have ever made was to book Simon and Marquee the Event for our Woodland wedding in September this year at Longton Wood! Myself and my husband were really set on using local suppliers in an effort to keep our day as planet friendly as possible and from the very first contact, Simon jumped on board with our planet friendly requests, going above and beyond to meet our requirements and help us create our dream day. We had so many compliments from guests and other suppliers about our marquee (we opted for a fully transparent one and it was absolutely magical set amongst the trees). We honestly could not have been happier! One of the most reliable, professional and hard working people we have ever worked with and we hope there is an opportunity in the future to use Simon and Marquee the Event again! We used Marquee The Event to supply a 12m x 12m marquee for the Kent County Show this year and I can't rate them highly enough. It lashed it down with rain and blew a gale all weekend and everybody that we hosted in the marquee said what a clean, dry and solidly constructed marquee it was and I have to agree. I have done many shows up and down the country using many different marquee suppliers and I have to say the marquee supplied by Simon is the best we've ever had at an incredibly reasonable price too. We will definitely look to use them again and can't recommend them enough.

After month's of looking for a marquee supplier we found Marquee the Event and loved their clear marquees! Simon was incredibly helpful from the get go, offering advice and information on the different styles of marquee as well as generators, dance floor, tables, benches, toilets and staging. We were so happy to find someone who could cover all our needs for our wedding day. The site visit we did with Simon and his team was incredibly informative but we also felt Simon fully understood what we wanted while providing great practical advice. When we finally saw the Marquee installed we were blown away with how beautiful it looked with the lights, staging and tables! The tables and toilets in particular were even better than we thought they would be and Simon was great at giving us instructions on how to use the equipment provided. Simon and his team were just brilliant from day one of enquiring with them. Simon would always get back to me straight away with any questions I had (which was A LOT!) he would always go through everything to ensure me that we had everything ready to go for the big day and I couldn’t have been happier with the communication. The marquee itself was outstanding and just exactly what I had been picturing in my head for years! My brief was “clear roof, sides that roll up, black and white dance floor and disco balls galore”.. it was spot on! We opted for the round tables and “nice” chairs which worked perfectly. We also had the toilet block from them, as toliets go.. there were really clean and “posh”. Actually people commented on how nice these were! We also had festoon lights up the drive way and a couple of days before the big day, I decided that I wanted them up the stairs too. I messaged Simon and they were put up the next day- talk about first class service!! We also did this with the carpet as originally I was going to have wooden floors but the carpet really finished it off nicely!
