Myself and my husband went here for lunch and were definitely not disappointed. We received a very friendly welcome and opted to sit in the beautiful beer garden to enjoy the sunshine. We had a Ploughman's, which was plentiful and a portion of chips each. Everything about our visit was perfect, we will definitely be returning and highly recommend this venue to everyone.
Whilst staying locally we visited this pub for dinner. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, especially with the dog. The garden is big and spacious and perfect on a warm sunny evening, with a large tree that provides great shade over parts, perfect with young children and furry dogs. The outside bar and kitchen area adds a really nice atmosphere outside. The food was great. And we even got a takeaway box for the pizza. Highly recommend a visit
Had a wonderful evening in this cosy and friendly pub. We both ordered the venison which turned out to be the best we’ve have ever had in a pub (and we’ve had our fair share of venison!). The service was outstanding and we were made to feel at home right away. Will definitely be returning when we next visit Dorset!
Lovely little country pub with a great garden space and very cosy interior. Staff were very friendly and accommodating to our group and the food was delicious, would recommend the crab sandwich! Also a fab local beer selection. Will try to stop by again soon 😊
Beautiful pub with a lovely outlook. Great food and beer selection. Great value for money and different to anything else that we’ve experienced in Dorset. Not the usual tourist fare at tourist prices but really good quality and well worth it.
