I used Events for You for my daughter's bat-mitzvah. They were professional and efficient from start to finish. The hot pink and orange ostrich feather center pieces they made for me were exquisite and outstanding and the stand would flash different colors all night. They were a great size and set off the entire room. All my guests commented on how amazing they were. They are a lovely company to deal with.

We hired Events For U to supply a number of items for our wedding at a local venue a few days ago. From start to finish the process was effortless and the excitement of seeing everything set up on the day was amazing!! The team had transformed both the ceremony and evening rooms, they were stunning! I’d highly recommend using these guys for any wedding decoration needs you have. Just fantastic!

I came across this absolute gem of a shop in Arlesford on Saturday. The shop and the products themselves are amazing, but for me it is the ladies who own it that are the real stars of the show. So wonderful to talk to and you can tell they have a real passion for what they do. Will most definitely be back!

An absolute gem of a shop in the heart of Alresford. Unbeatable quality and prices. Keeping with the spirit of the age, resourcing clothes of top brands that would otherwise end up barely used or totally unused. It is not often you can pick up a pair of Chanel shoes for £170! Other finds were Valentino, Paul Smith and Emporio Armani not to mention eclectic and hip brands from New York all at prices below the £50 mark. Jo and Carol have a real fashionista eye combined with classical elegance. The only downside...I never walk out of there empty handed!!!! It would be a crime if I did!

The Martha Hollis team catered for our son's wedding last Saturday. They were a big part of a very happy day. Every aspect of the service was beyond excellent - the food was absolutely delicious, the staff so efficient and charming, the organisation faultless. We cannot thank them enough and would recommend to everyone.

The Martha Hollis team did a fantastic job catering for us. We wanted a relaxed vibe and their big pan cookery was perfect. All of the food was fantastic and the team was very efficient without being intrusive and kept things as stress-free as possible.

The Martha Hollis team are easily the best catering company we’ve ever come across. They went above and beyond in every single aspect of catering our wedding and made it the single best experience we could have ever asked for. Even from initial contact they assisted us along the way with what we’d need quantity wise and gave us such a detailed wedding tasting experience that made us so excited for the food from the very start. All along the build up to the wedding they were in contact with the venue or the companies working along side them so we had the least amount of admin and stress. They made our experience fun and exciting not stressful and overwhelming. The food itself was a knockout, a huge open pit BBQ sat in the corner of our outdoor summer wedding perfectly grilling the bavette steaks with chimichurri, local Hampshire trout all over the coals and a roasted cauliflower dish with lemon hazelnut crumb that almost everyone attending the wedding came up to us and said they couldn’t believe how tastey it was. We really love our food as well and this lived up to exceeded every single expectation. Incredible how they can get that much flavour into a dish for a large scale event. The canapés were to die for also and they made sure that not only everyone tried all of them, but Vic made sure that Rosie and I also were able to try them through the day and not miss out on our lovely food. Their staff were also so happy and cheerful yet also worked in the background so subtley, cannot thank the staff enough. The evening was also a knockout with the huge open pan Mac and cheese that people were obsessed with with crispy bacon jalapeños, chorizo you name it?! Rach even designed and made our wedding cake for us and my god was it beautiful and delicious. There aren’t enough words to fit in a review that would sum up how amazing Matha Hollis were in making our day the best day of our lives. Matt and Rach - you guys are legends, thank you for everything you did!!

Martha Hollis catered for our wedding in September and I really couldn't recommend them highly enough. Ever since the first phone call they were so friendly, efficient, quick to reply and unbelievably flexible with all our asks - nothing fazed them! The tasting was great fun and they happily tweaked the menu which allowed us to have some personal elements to the dishes which meant a lot. The bar staff were incredible at serving the numerous different drinks we wanted to offer (frozen margaritas from a slushie machine were a hit!) and Rach made the most stunning (and delicious) wedding cake. They took all the stress out of any of the organisational aspects by liaising with all the other suppliers. On the day they set up the tables beautifully and took great care with all the small details we had requested. So many guests commented on how amazing the service was and how charming everyone was. We had 150 guests and canapes, 3 plated courses and big pan mac and cheese for later in the evening. All of it was utterly delicious and during the reception they ensured everyone always had a full glass and plenty of canapes! The quality of the food was outstanding and Matt and team made everything seem so easy and run like clockwork. They were an integral part of making our wedding day so wonderful and we couldn't thank you enough.

We used The Events Co for our wedding at New Barn Farm this summer and could not recommend them enough. Their furniture/crockery hire service was so seamless with delivery the day ahead of when we started set up which gave us plenty of time, the catering was exceptional - they worked with us to create a bespoke BBQ menu and all the guests commented afterwards how great the food was - and the team’s waiting and bar staff were so accommodating and friendly. But Kirsty’s on the day coordination was by far the star of the show and something I would recommend to any couple. Nothing phased her - specific guest requirements, room change overs, even last minute change of plans due to the weather - she made our day run so smoothly and we’ll be forever grateful!

Right from the start Events and Co couldn’t have done more for us. From meeting with Khia when we just needed someone to make us feel calmer to the big details of organising everything. We loved how honest they were with everything about our wedding and bringing out ideas to life. The food on the day was also incredible, with pretty much everyone speaking to us after about how amazing our wedding food was!!! And then our coordinator Kirsty, she honestly made us feel like our wedding was the most important day she had ever been on. As I Arrived she was even carrying my nephew ,who had already taken to her, to pass her to my sister ready to goo down the aisle. She couldn’t have helped more to make sure everything went seamlessly and not just this but throughout the day she was so smooth that she just made everyone fall in love with her and even sent us some pictures and videos the next morning that she’d got for us ! She worked amazingly with all the suppliers and we honestly didn’t have a thing to worry about all day! I couldn’t recommend this company enough and will continue with everyone that I know getting married or married handing an event from health forward. Khia & Kirsty @ The Events Co were so helpful in making sure our wedding ran smoothly this Summer! They took care of furniture, catering, staffing, on the day co-ordination and moral support!! We decided to use Events Co for our wedding at Appuldurcombe House after meeting Khia at two Wedding fayre’s at Medina & IOW Pearl. From the very start Khia had the answers in terms of power, toilets, tables, food, decor, staff, a bar and so much more specifically at our venue and had several meetings and phone calls with us over a 22 month period building up to the big day. Consistent calls and emails with Khia and her colleague Kirsty ensured everything we had booked and wanted was ready to go and nothing was ever forced or unreasonable, if anything the opposite. As the wedding approached they really came in to their own, checking on finer details such as what flavour ice creams we preferred on the ice cream bike and the positioning of the burger van (out of a horse box) they had also provided. On the Thursday and Friday like clockwork Khia and the team were there, everything as ordered and being set up exactly how we wanted it, at one point extra staff were there to help set up the tables and decorate, something we didn’t even expect! Every member of the team worked so hard to get our wedding ready and on the day they were great with on the day coordination from Khia themself and the canapés, two course lunch (3 choices for each course) and then our burger and chips van exceeded expectation and got great feedback from our guests! Khia and the team remained on hand all day and eve to ensure rooms were switched round and pudding tables were topped up as well as keeping the guests watered at the bar! Full of good spirits, banter, accommodating our guests needs and having pics with my dad and refusing my mums supply of apple pies she had got reduced the day before! The wedding went perfectly and Events Co made it what it was without doubt! They were legends all of them and a massive part of our day being what it was. Thank you so much Adan & Harriet!

Would definitely recommend this company to anyone! Absolutely amazing service! Completely transformed our venue for our wedding at the weekend, and it looked fantastic! Lorna is amazing, has everything from table decorations to chair covers, to the sweet cart- which went down a treat! James, the fun photographer with all his props was just fantastic! So relaxed and polite, and was so much fun! Lorna went above and beyond by helping the venue set up and pack down, and moving our centrepieces from the house to the marquee in the evening! Cannot thank Lorna and James enough!

Lorna helped with the table decorations for our wedding. She helped me massively when I was struggling to make decisions but she brought all of the thoughts I had, and turned them into reality. It was more than I could have ever wished for - the room looked absolutely beautiful!! Thank you so much for all you did to help us create our dream wedding!

Lorna set up the floral love letters, doughnut wall and sweet cart for our wedding reception and we also hired the post box. She was so lovely and friendly and everyone loved the sweets and doughnuts.

WOW!! From start to finish, both Carol and Zoe were super friendly and helpful. We helped design the stationary for our day, Zoe provided the most gorgeous flowers for the venue and bridal party and the turnaround throughout the day was seamless. I honestly cannot recommend this little business enough. It took the stress away from the day and the venue looked spectacular with the floral arch, the table centre pieces and all the extra little touches. What can I say about Laurel Designs except from WOW! I should start by saying I was a bit dubious about upgrading my original 'wish list' to the full styling package but I am SO glad I did, it was so worth it. We got married at Silchester Farm in Nov 22. From my initial meeting with Carol, the sense of relief after the meeting was indescribable. I was concerned about the whole day 'coming together', the smaller details and the set up and Carol just eased all of that. Her passion, creativity and vision was everything I needed and I couldn't wait to work with them! I then had the pleasure of meeting Zoe (and x3 beautiful Boxers!) during our final planning meeting face to face where we firmed up the details ahead of our wedding. Silchester was a big venue with different areas but they sprinkled so much rustic charm and beautiful designs across the place. My personal favourite parts were the wooded arch with lights for the alter, the tables - just WOW, we had a burnt orange runner with lots of candles and dried flowers, and the table plan and entrance set up to welcome guests was so special. We cannot thank the team enough for their hard work, patience and attention to detail, we had the best day and a huge part of it was due to Laurel Designs. Thank you so much, Amy and Louis x

Sadly the florist we had booked for our wedding was unable to complete the work due to illness, so we were a little worried we wouldn't find a new florist just a few months before the wedding. We contacted Carol at Laurel Designs and she instantly put us at ease, saying they would do everything they could to try and help out. I met with Zoe the florist the following week to discuss our hopes for the floral arrangements and I instantly felt in safe hands. My ideas were a little all over the place and she offered great advice and I trusted her completely. She quickly sent us a mood board the following day and went above and beyond to check we were happy. Zoe added candelabras and signage to complete the styling. On the day, I cannot explain how thrilled we were with the flowers! They exceeded any expectations we had previously, and it was clear that Zoe had put many hours into creating such beautiful arrangements. They looked wild and natural, and smelt amazing! My bouquet was so so beautiful and we were just blown away. So many of our guests were complimenting the flowers and they really did make the venue look so beautiful. On the day Zoe and Carol even moved the arrangements for us from the ceremony area to the drinks reception so that we could make the most of them and nothing was wasted. The next morning we collected some of the arrangements and gave them out to family members. Our grandparents were so chuffed and the flowers still look and smell beautiful in their living rooms now, over a week later! Not only did Zoe and Carol go above and beyond leading up to and on our wedding day with the floral arrangements, but they were just lovely people to be around and it felt as though they were genuinely excited for us both. We absolutely loved working with them and would recommended Laurel Designs to anyone planning a wedding or looking for great styling and/or flowers! Thank you again Zoe and Carol x

From start to finish it was easy to communicate with them via email and they were very responsive. They put together a cosy outdoor seating area with beanbags, floor cushions and rugs as well as a lovely bell tent with a pastel soft play setup inside. They were even able to arrange for a photo backdrop with a balloon garland. Nothing was too much to ask and they were very patient with all my numerous questions!
