Had a fantastic experience working with Tom, who helped me organise a post wedding BBQ for family celebrating my brother and his new wife. Tom made it so easy and stress free for me, he listened to the brief and sourced all the suppliers. Tom helped me communicate with the suppliers when there were delays on deliveries, but everything arrived in time for our event. We had a small issue with rain on the day the marquee went up, as the grass became quite wet and a bit muddy, but Tom thought on his feet and was able to bring some carpet that we could use at the entrance of the marquee to help clean shoes upon exiting the marquee. Tom also went the extra mile and helped with setting up in the morning which was greatly appreciated. He made it look great and was very helpful with suggesting setup styles and also displaying the flowers that we brought back from the wedding. Guests were very impressed with the quality of the catering too. I highly recommend working with Tom for stress free event planning, and would love to work together again (just need another occasion to come up as an excuse 😂) My sincerest thanks Tom! Sofia

Tom from Great British Events company is reliable and friendly. I had initially given him a concept and our meeting theme. He then came up with so many lovely ideas, keeping in mind the budget and the main focus of the event being wellbeing. He was proactive in offering solutions. Everyone loved the deco and the idea of a violinist to suit our theme was much appreciated. I will definitely get in touch with Tom again for future events. When it came to payment he was so patient till it all worked out according to our company guidelines. He does not push you but works alongside with you. Thank You Tom

Tom and The GBE Team helped deliver Beavertown’s 2023 Christmas party and he DELIVERED! Tom was super helpful across all elements from Decor, tech, event management. He saw our vision and did an incredible job. Communication and costs were great and the team were so great and easy to work with. We are so looking forward to working with them again for our Summer Event!

Tom and Great British Events helped me plan my 32nd birthday in our home garden! Tom listened to my ideas from the start and was very prompt to answer even the smallest question. He was very attentive and incredibly accommodating. On the day of the party, Tom and his team were simply outstanding. They managed every aspect of the event with precision and attention to detail, ensuring that everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The decorations, food, drinks, and entertainment were all top-notch, and my guests and I had an amazing time. Will be planning future events with them for sure!

One six events were just fantastic! Leading up to the wedding they were so helpful and the process was seamless: with the site visit, quotes and seeking guidance on what we needed to hire. Rich and the team were amazing when putting the marquee up and even came back again to level the dance floor for us. The marquee and all the furniture was so beautiful and it was more than we even hoped for. Thank you so much Freddie, Rich and the team- it was perfect!

Freddie is so knowledgeable about the product and gave great advice for the 100 annoying questions we had. We couldn’t believe the speed in which the wonderful team set up our marquee. Wedding planning can be stressful but they really made the difference due to how smoothly everything went from the design to its removal - this was done so discreetly the as we recovered from the partying. We still receive compliments about our petal pole marquee : ) - 1000% we recommend!

We would 100% recommend One Six Events! We used them for marquee hire for our wedding this Summer. They were helpful and informative when booking and absolutely brilliant with the set up and take down of the marquee. Freddie and his team were all very friendly, they arrived on time to set up and made the process very smooth. We couldn’t recommend them enough! 10/10!

One Six Events are fantastic! We picked One Six Events for our wedding because they could do everything! It was great that we could get a beautiful marquee, bar, everything inside, toilets, fridge trailer and the list goes on, all from one place! This really set One Six Events apart from other providers. Communication was excellent and we also got really helpful tips about what work work well at our venue. We used Vanessa for room decor and flowers. She was absolutely brilliant and the room and flowers were both beautiful. She took the time to help us be creative and help see what colour schemes worked and different things she can do to the tables. We really appreciated this as its quite an overwhlemong thing to plan! She was very professional and contact was really easy. Vanessa made our day very special and stress free! I highly recommend using Vanessa. Thank you so much

I used Vanessa for my wedding flowers and set up. She was extremely professional and helpful offering support throughout and helping with ideas in our earlier meetings. She stayed in touch throughout the lead up to our big day. She set everything up as we discussed as well as clearing everything away the day after. My wedding flowers were delivered to my room the morning of the big day and they were absolutely stunning! I could not reccomend her enough, she truly goes above and beyond to make your special day perfect. Thank you!

We booked Vanessa after meeting her at a wedding fayre. She helped and supplied us with invitations, centre pieces and top table decorations, bouquets and button holes as well as hair and make up. Contact was easy and we were able to meet with her and the florist to discuss what we were looking for. Our wedding breakfast room looked beautiful and the flowers and centre pieces really brought a vision to life. Thank you

I have used Vanessa several times over the years as she is so reliable, professional and always goes above and beyond to make everything perfect. I first used Vanessa on my wedding day, she did my hair, the bridesmaids and even flower girls. She put us all at ease and was great with the kids. She also provided us with some decor for the wedding ,, and this was amazing. The items were beautiful but also so helpful having her as part of the set up to then relay back during our hair that all www looking beautiful at the venue. I have just gone back to use Vanessa for our baby shower. She designed bespoke stationary as well as providing balloons. It was honestly all so beautiful and can’t recommend her highly enough. I’ll definitely be contacting her for my little girls first birthday
