We recently held our summer wedding at Rownhams House and what a wonderful day we had. Nigel and Helen were excellent in the face of our enquiries in the lead up to the big day, and everything ran without a hitch. As a worrier and a perfectionist, I can be difficult to reassure, but this was never an issue for Nigel and Helen. They clearly know what they’re doing but at no point does that make it feel ‘run of the mill’; our day felt personal, well organised and special. The house will hold a place in our hearts and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others as a venue nor to return for other events in the future.

I honestly don’t know what to say, Helen and Nigel were absolutely incredible from the very first time I contacted them to the day itself. They think of every last thing and their can do attitude helps to make all your dreams a reality. My grandad, who was walking me down the aisle, was unexpectedly diagnosed with terminal cancer and when I contacted them one Saturday asking if there was any chance he could visit so he knew what he was working towards they didn’t think twice before making it happen. It meant the world to me, and it was this type of attitude that was carried through the entire year of planning and during the wedding day. I genuinely could not rate them highly enough, if I could give them 100 stars I would! We visited some venues that felt just like wedding factories. Rownhams house couldn’t be more different from that. If you are a looking for a wedding venue that has the extravagant feel of downtown abbey with the homely and warm feeling of home, this is absolutely the venue for you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping us to create our dream day 💛💛

Held my daughter and son-in-law’s wedding reception at Rownhams House on 16th July. An absolutely beautiful venue. Everything was perfect. Nigel and Helen were so helpful with the preparations and their guidance and tips were invaluable. We really couldn’t have choose anywhere better for such a special day and we have had so many of our guests compliment us on the venue

We recently got married at Rownhams House. It is such a beautiful venue. Both indoors and outdoors are absolutely stunning and the guests at our wedding were full of compliments for it! Nigel and Helen run the house and are such kind, thoughtful and helpful people. They made sure our wedding day ran perfectly because they were so organised. It was seamless! Again, all the guests commented on this. Throughout the planning period they were always on the end of the phone/email if we needed them and no question/ask was too big. Thank you so much for such an incredible day!

We got married at Rownham's House in August 2024. We don't really have the words to express just how much we loved our wedding there. The venue is just perfect - we had so many guests comment on that - and the owners Nigel & Helen were amazing from start to finish. They are very calm, but think of everything to make sure it all goes perfectly, and clearly really enjoy what they do. If you are considering Rownham's as a wedding venue, all I can say is go for it - you won't regret it. We want to do it all over again, including the planning and preparation. With Nigel and Helen's help it was just a joy from start to finish.
