I have had the pleasure of capturing a few weddings at Lulworth Castle and it really is absolutely stunning. The beautiful stone walls, grand stair entrance and hugh castle ceilings make it really spectacular. It has as soft, pretty yet grand feel to it, and it photographs beautifully. The team there are fab and all the weddings I have captured have been seamless. Bonus that it is close to Lulworth Cove where couples have the option of visiting for photos. I look forward to working here again soon!

Last time we have visited this place about 8years ago. Lots of changes around the castle grounds land inside a castle it self. Beautiful peacocks next to freshly build playground. Kids loved it.

Wonderful shell of a castle in a picturesque landscape. Due to the fire many years ago the interiors were never restored but provide a unique space to wander around and imagine what it would have been like. The grounds are lovely to explore including a short woodland walk with a play area for children.

Never was a castle. More of a swanky hunting lodge. Nice, but if you really want to enjoy the site, checkout the other buildings here too

Imposing castle built in the 17th century as a hunting lodge for the family that still owns it today. Following the installation of electricity, the castle was gutted by a terrible fire in 1929. It has been partially restored and looks complete from the outside, but the interior bears the scars of the fire. The exhibition on the ground floor showcases numerous artefacts, charting the history of the castle and its owners. It's well worth walking around the estate, which is home to various other buildings including St Andrew's Church, a folly tower, North Lodge gatehouses and a Catholic chapel with a beautiful interior. There's a short but pleasant woodland walk to see the peacocks, just beware of the crocodiles in the lake... £9 for entry when I visited seemed very reasonable given everything there was to see, but as a member of English Heritage, I got in free. There's plenty of parking (£3 for the day when I visited), a café, toilet facilities and a children's play area, so it's ideal for a family day out.
