Stacey is a genuine, warm, helpful and wise person. She is very personable and grasps a good understanding of individuals, couples and their visions for their dream celebrations. We opted for on the day management and this was invaluable especially as we had a number of unforeseen challenges to contend with in the run up to and on the day (15.06.24) such as our wedding cake maker cancelling just one month before and entertainment arriving late on the day! Her team are proactive, resourceful and good fun. On our day, Jess was leading and she and the rest of the team were great engaging with us, our guests and even leading on the Candy by Cameo dance 💃🏻 Thoughtful messages and gifts from Stacey before and on the day really enhanced the experience for us and we can wholeheartedly recommend the service she provides for anyone who wants full planning and/or on-the-day coordination for weddings or any celebration in fact!

We cannot thank Anouska from Raggy&Boo enough, every single element of our wedding was delivered to perfection in her capable hands. No job was too big or too small, she was ready and waiting for our entrance to the venue with a glass of champagne and a smile and was just the most wonderful, calm and competent energy. A HUGE thank you to Marcus and the team! We had so many people come up to us after our wedding to say the disco was amazing and the photobooth was just brilliant. We had our guests glue their photo straight into our guestbook for wonderful (and hilarious) memories. Marcus was super helpful, friendly and very accommodating as we wanted guests to be able to request songs. The website was very easy to use and add songs to our do/don’t playlist. We used MJS for our wedding in November 2024 and they were absolutely amazing. From the get go Marcus was incredibly friendly and helpful, the website is easy to use and the whole team just brought such good vibes during the evening - we couldn’t be happier with our choice! We also used their audio guestbook which was such a fun little touch, all our guests loved it and we got the recordings back the very next day. MJS Entertainment were absolutely brilliant from the planning of the wedding to the help on the day! They helped make the venue look stunning. The evening entertainment they provided was amazing and really made our wedding super special! Super friendly and always able to help make sure that we had everything we wanted for our wedding. We booked our wedding plans well in advance of the current pandemic for 2021 and found Sweet Forrest to provide us with decoration for the venue. Unfortunately, due the pandemic we had to rethink our big day and Sarah at Sweet Forrest was absolutely marvellous to us. She made the whole process very easy, has been very supportive to us and completely professional. When cancelling our plans, Sarah offered us a refund without any hesitation and processed this instantly. My husband and I were incredibly lucky to have gotten married at The White Barn in June 2024. I had followed The Farm and Field Café on Instagram for quite some time, and just loved it! When I realised there was a wedding venue at the same location, I knew I had to visit! We booked in an appointment and met the lovely Beth. She was just the most lovely human being and I loved her just as much as I loved the barn. It was the only venue we’d looked around but I didn’t need to look anywhere else, we decided there and then that this was the one and were lucky enough to book a date for the following summer. The barn itself and the grounds was just perfect for us, exactly what we wanted and more. Beth and Nat have worked incredibly hard on it and it really shows, it’s such a beautiful place. Beth was our wedding planner and was just amazing through the whole process. She was so supportive of all of our ideas and also helped us when we were struggling. She was more like a friend to us than anything else and we could not have done it without her! Myself and my bridal party stayed at the barn the night before the wedding and had a lovely Chinese before chilling out in the bridal suite. We got ready in one room next door the next morning with everything you could possibly need inside! The White Barn provided our canapes, wedding breakfast and evening food which was all absolutely delicious!! Again, nothing was too much to ask. We wanted to break from tradition a bit with the food and again Beth could not have been more accommodating. I feel extremely grateful to Beth and the whole team at The White Barn for giving us the wedding day I’ve always dreamed of. We have just had our wedding at The White Barn in South Petherton. To start with the venue is absolutely gorgeous and it ticks every box! Its new style but old barn theme is just what we wanted. It has incredible in door and out door spaces and lots of different spots you can marry in. You can see the venue online and see what i mean! The main part of the day I wanted to mention was our wedding planner Ashleigh! He is new to the barn but HOLY S**T hes good! I don’t know how he has the energy to go like he does but hes an endless bag of magic! He was on hand all night and the whole build up to the wedding. He made us feel heard and safe leaving our wedding in his hands. Im abit of a control freak and need to know every detail and he let me feel comfortable enough to release the reins and let him do what he does best. And he did! The bar and kitchen staff were also all fantastic and friendly.. i honestly cant fault anyone or anything. I recommend anyone to get married here and if you have a choice on wedding planners… you definitely dont want to miss out on Ash!! Xx

We would highly recommend the white barn as a wedding venue, we had the most amazing wedding planner who did everything he possibly could to make sure everything was perfect. Ash was always on standby and replied so quickly with any questions or concerns we had. Our wedding was bittersweet with the recent passing of my dad and ash made sure he was still a huge part of the day and was so supportive when things became emotionally difficult. The biggest thank you to Beth and her team for pulling out all the stops to making it the most incredible day for us. There was no request to little or too large and the excitement and enthusiasm Beth had for our ideas to make our day as unique as us was truly wonderful and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better to be our wedding planner. Having the option of using the onsite cafe and florist for our food and flowers also made the task of organising these aspects so much easier! Holly at Frogmary Flowers was amazing- the flowers, bouquets and button holes were perfect. As for the food from Farm and Field Cafe, our guests still talk about how good it was now- 6 months on. Need I say more?! All in all everyone involved at the White Barn really did make it the best day of our lives! 💛🧡🩷💚

We chose Stockbridge farm barn for our wedding after viewing a number of options from the Dorchester museum to various hotels and beyond. We ended up selecting Stockbridge farm barn as from the moment we saw it we knew it was the one for us, the rustic setting, the quite surroundings and the floral colours matched our theme perfectly. Cherry was hugely accomodating throughout the process if we wanted to visit for planning no problem, had a question for recommending a supplier, she had a book of hem, need high chairs, just ask. Price wise Stockbridge isn't the cheapest, but there is flexibility as you can then select the suppliers you want and also there are some options for staying on site in the form of shepherd huts. If you are thinking of having your wedding here, we do highly recommend staying in the huts, the morning after our wedding when we woke up to have morning coffee, there was a single stag walking across the field and that moment was so tranquil it was perfect. If we were to do our wedding again, there is no doubt in our minds we would choose the barn, however our one section of frustration was there are no toilet facilities included in the price, you have the option of either hiring a shepherd hut style or porta cabin - however in the scheme of things this is minor for how perfect our day was..

Stuart couldn’t have been more helpful, we needed a structure at short notice after another company let us down. Best in the business, I can’t recommend him and his team highly enough.

Truly magical is the only words I can use to describe our wedding decor. I had a vision in mind and put all my trust in "a touch of class". I actually changed venues just so I could use them and I'm so glad I did. From the first message right until the day communication was prompt and informative and the day itself just blew us away ! Our guests commented it was tge most stunning set up they have ever seen and i totally agree. Absolutely perfect in every way !!

The decor was stunning. Everyone complimented the set up of the ceremony room and how lovely the reception tables were. The Photo Booth was a massive hit with everyone. The chocolate foundation was good and the children loved it, as well as the sweet cart. Communication was good and always available for any queries.

Roger was just brilliant! From the moment we booked him for our wedding, the communication was excellent, receiving answers to our questions instantly. He's friendly, approachable and really just a constant professional from start to finish. Whoever was on the dance floor, the music he played worked perfectly in sync to ensure guests young and old stayed on the dance floor for as long as possible. The visual setup was perfect as well. I would recommend Roger to anyone!

One of the best decisions we made for our wedding - hiring Roger! His communication prior to the big day was excellent, great value and was personal on the day. Where to begin?! We found Roger The Wedding Guy at a Wedding Fair back in early 2020. We were impressed by his friendly and fun personality and the range of services he had on offer. Initially we decided to book him as just our DJ for the evening but he offered the Toastmaster and iSmile photo services too at a reasonable price which we also decided to go for. On the day Roger turned up promptly and entertained some of our guests, so I have heard. He also played our ceremony music with only one very tiny hitch, which we all laughed about after and had no bearing on the joy of the day. He helped rally our guests for our confetti throw, garden games and photos and gathered everyone to come for the reception meal. He also provided background music while we had canapes and photos taken and very kindly played my favourite and unusual Kermit the Frog song, It's Not Easy Being Green! Roger was very amenable to all our unusual requests such as 3 first dance songs instead of just one! He was also incredibly professional throughout the day. When I was too warm, he magically produced a little white hand fan from his pocket to lend to me, which I thought was a nice touch! Everyone was impressed with his attention to detail. Perhaps not so much my husband though, who will now hilariously always been known as "Knobby" since Roger overheard my affectionate nickname for him and announced it several times throughout the day. :D Overall, I cannot recommend Roger The Wedding Guy enough! He was a fantastic addition to our wedding day and we can't thank him enough for all the help he provided. Cheers!!

From the moment we first visited we knew it was the perfect venue for us due to how flexible, versatile and stunning it is. Holly our amazing wedding coordinator was one of the reasons we chose the venue and is a true asset to Mapperton. She was there to take us through the whole process, being a fountain of knowledge for amazing suppliers in the South West and nothing was too big an ask. Most importantly she made sure our day ran like clockwork and we couldn't have asked for a better day. Our guests have given us so many compliments saying it is the favourite wedding they have ever been to and this is all thanks to the hard work put in by the team at Mapperton. We can't wait to pop in, take a walk around the stunning Italian gardens and visit the Mapperton family to remember our special day.

WHAT A VENUE! Having shot at venues all over Mapperton is just incredible. It has everything, and I mean everything. Multiple choices for the ceremony, STUNNING grounds, gorgeous barn. It honestly has it all. The staff are wonderful, so welcoming and really take care of their suppliers - which means they take care of their couples. It's a dream venue!

The absolute most perfect wedding venue ever! Mapperton had everything that we wanted and we absolutely fell in love with it, no venue in the area compared!! It was a complete blank canvas in the coach house which we really liked and there were many ceremony options (inside and outside) but we opted with the croquet lawn which was simply stunning. The gardens are sensational and many of our guests have said it’s the most beautiful wedding venue they have ever been to. There’s two cottages on site too so we used one for the bridal party and then one for the grooms, this was such an amazing option to have and really added to the whole weekend experience! Holly our wedding co-ordinator was incredible, so kind and understanding. No question was too big and she helped us quickly on any wedding advice / help that we needed. We really appreciated her being there through anything that we needed, she was amazing on the day and it all ran smoothly which was completely all her hard work but also leading up to the wedding too. She helped so much & we truly appreciate her! She really understood our vision. If you are thinking of booking Mapperton for your wedding then DO IT, it was simply a dream come true that we will remember for the rest of our lives!! :)
