I only recently found out that this 250 year old family brewery had opened an on-site tap room / pub, so just had to visit. On the outskirts of the main town, this is a fascinating establishment built within the original Victorian malt store, and is packed with memories of the brewery in the past. As you'd expect, the beer range is excellent, and food looked good too - pretty much regular pub dishes, but reasonably priced. Staff were very friendly and helpful, though on my visit service was a bit erratic, basically because new staff were being trained "on the job" that day. There's easy parking on site, or it's just a few minutes walk from Blandford town centre. Well recommended.
Had a breakfast here Saturday 26th October. Very welcoming staff, happy to host our dog and great place to bring him as plenty of room and far enough from other guest as not crammed next to other tables. Nice food and great coffee, lovely setting.
I really liked it in here. What an interesting and atmospheric place. The staff were lovely. I'd recommend the coffee stout.
Always love coming to this bar. Beer and food always great. Love the sharer on the new menu I apparently had one of the first ones.
