Nicky was very accommodating with the items i required. She send me photo's of what i wanted, to give me an idea on what i was hiring along with making the whole process nice and straightforward. Once the items were collected (by my dad) and bought to the venue i could certainly see Nicky looks after her props as the quality of the items were really good. Oh my gosh, where to begin, Katie (Style and Wonder) was an absolute dream to have as our wedding planner. She was reassuring and calm when we were feeling stressed and creative and inspiring when we needed ideas. Nothing was too much to ask for, she was friendly and organised and always on hand for any random questions we had, we really felt supported during the whole wedding process. In regards to styling our wedding looked even better than we could have imagined. She took our ideas initially and the styling matched exactly what we had asked for. Katie organised the flowers as well and all the guests commented on how beautiful they were. We highly recommend Style and Wonder for anyone looking for a wedding planner and florist!

Katie is and has been an absolute dream. She took our mad ramblings and vision and turned it into absolute perfection, our wedding day was exquisite. Her talent for venue styling and floristry is utterly incredible. Our flowers, not just our bouquets but also the general venue flowers, were simply stunning, she absolutely nailed the colour theme. It was better than we could have even imagined. There were so many comments on the day about how beautiful the venue looked. Not only this but Katie provided us with wedding planning services too. As we were so far away this was invaluable. We knew we were in safe hands. Nothing was too much trouble, and our late night/panicked emails and messages were met with nothing but love and enthusiasm. She provided a much needed sense of calm when the inevitable wedding stress and worry took over. No words can actually do Katie's work, or how much she has meant to us over the past 18 months, justice.

I attended a beautiful Wedding Handfasting Celebration facilitated by Ellie in December 2021 for some dear friends of mine. Ellie was exceptional. She was engaging, genuine, calm and welcoming to everyone. As a facilitator she was inspiring and I felt honoured to be present. It was one of the most wonderful weddings I’ve ever attended, the ceremony was moving and so bespoke to my lovely friends. I thoroughly recommend Ellie!

Ellie created and delivered our Handfasting Marriage Ceremony. I cannot rate her highly enough. She first offered a couple of consultations to get to know us, our story and find out what we wanted from the ceremony. From the offset Ellie was very easy to talk to. She is also incredibly intuitive, so this made the ‘script forming’ stage very easy. She even picked up on subtleties from the ways in which we interacted during our consultations to perfectly represent us as a couple within the ceremony speech. On the wedding day Ellie was super helpful with practical (and emotional) tasks. Her warm and calm approach certainly made my groom feel at ease while he waited! We have had so many glowing reviews from our guests with regards to Ellie and the ceremony. Some family members who are quite religious even said that this was the best wedding they had been to, and that the ceremony was surprisingly inclusive and interesting. I highly recommend using Ellie from Wild flower ceremonies as your wedding celebrant. Ellie delivered a personal, funny and beautiful ceremony for us. My partner and I had slightly different views on what the ceremony should be with him being slightly more traditional than me. Ellie got the tone so spot on and kept it light hearted and fun whilst still having some of the rituals that I wanted. Wow, Ellie!! I first enjoyed one of Ellie's ceremony as a guest at a friend's wedding. Her energy, enthusiasm, wit, story telling and care and affection made the ceremony a truly special and memorable time. It was an easy choice when it came to my own wedding who should be our celebrant. Ellie, once again blew the guests away with a ceremony exactly as we wanted - laidback and relaxed but to make every guest fell and play a part. Noone expected to be proper belly laughing throughout and everyone said they've never been to a ceremony like it, but it was they'd been to! Ellie listened to what we thought we wanted and guided us with great ideas and was better than we could have ever imagined. This was the venue of our dreams! Gail was fantastic, always happy to help with our many questions and walked us through everything we needed to know. The grounds are stunning and it was such a privilege to be able to wander around - locations for beautiful photos are endless! The barn is gorgeous, the lounge area upstairs was brilliant for our guests who wanted a rest and the toilets are beautifully decorated! As soon as we arrived, we knew Hinton was the one!

After two years of planning with Gail as our main contact at Hinton St Mary we got married in April 2024, we had a truly wonderful wedding. Gail was phenomenal and very good with her recommendations throughout our planning. All our recommended suppliers knew the venue well making our planning easier. The venue was dry hire , many of our guests travelled from near and far so we made use of the venue from Friday to Sunday. The blank canvas of the barn was turned into something of our own which we decorated with fairy lights , rustic tables and chairs and greenery. The band played from the stage allowing a large dance floor below , the kitchen and toilets were great and easy to access. Other bonuses of the venue is St Peter’s church is just a few 100 meters from the venue and easy access for all guests . Accommodation onsite is available to the bridal party and those who need to stay on site , we found the accommodation to be very comfortable and convenient all weekend. We couldn’t recommend Hinton St Mary highly enough as a wedding venue.

I cannot recommend this venue highly enough, our wedding here was absolutely perfect. The barn itself is lovely but the real gem is the outdoor space - it’s stunning and there is so much of it! We had a stunning ceremony in the middle garden, drinks reception in the sunken garden and then the walled garden just outside the barn made a beautiful extension for our reception. We were given the freedom to make our vision come true and it was just incredible. Gail was a saint throughout the entire booking and planning process, and was a godsend on the day! The cottages are wonderful too, they are well worth their money. The pub down the road was the perfect place for the evening before for a big family meet up as well as a more intimate wedding party breakfast the following morning. Having the venue for the whole 3 days was just amazing - we were never rushed and we had the time to do what we wanted and needed to do. The flexibility with everything was just fantastic, I am so so glad we chose this beautiful venue, it was perfect. Thank you so much :)

We cannot recommend this venue highly enough! We got married last month (March 2024) at the St Peter's Church (right there on the estate), followed by reception in the Tithe barn. It was stunning whatever the weather, and the perfect choice if you are going more winter/out of the summer season, because the barn was so cosy. Gail was incredible throughout and in all honesty, we really didn't have to do a lot - the venue has so much character of its own, it's all any of our guests could talk about! We will be thinking about the day and the estate for a long time! Couldn't have picked a better venue.

She is so experienced and organised, gave great advice throughout whilst listening to all our ideas. From our introductory call until our wedding, Melanie went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly on the day. Melanie’s attention to detail is unmatched. To give one of many examples: without request from us, Melanie remembered my sensitivity to mosquito bites from an earlier conversation and arranged mosquito plugs to be placed in the bridal suite. This small but incredibly thoughtful touch meant so much. It’s this thoughtfulness and pre-empting of potential issues that really sets Melanie apart. Melanie always responded promptly to our questions/emails, often late at night or over weekends. She was incredibly patient and always put us at ease. We feel very lucky to have had Melanie and the Came House team for our wedding. Thanks to their hard work and care, we were able to enjoy the day without stressing about the details. Having Rosie as part of our wedding day (and the months leading up to it) was one of the best decisions we made. She was so calm, composed and “on it” throughout the whole process that we couldn’t help but feel that way too! She is incredibly knowledgeable and just bubbling with amazing ideas. Having a marquee wedding on our family farm, we really appreciated her expert eye but also her focus on the environment and sustainability. My only regret is that we discovered Rosie about halfway through our planning - I only wish we could have worked with her from the beginning.

The absolute most perfect wedding venue ever! Mapperton had everything that we wanted and we absolutely fell in love with it, no venue in the area compared!! It was a complete blank canvas in the coach house which we really liked and there were many ceremony options (inside and outside) but we opted with the croquet lawn which was simply stunning. The gardens are sensational and many of our guests have said it’s the most beautiful wedding venue they have ever been to. There’s two cottages on site too so we used one for the bridal party and then one for the grooms, this was such an amazing option to have and really added to the whole weekend experience! Holly our wedding co-ordinator was incredible, so kind and understanding. No question was too big and she helped us quickly on any wedding advice / help that we needed. We really appreciated her being there through anything that we needed, she was amazing on the day and it all ran smoothly which was completely all her hard work but also leading up to the wedding too. She helped so much & we truly appreciate her! She really understood our vision. If you are thinking of booking Mapperton for your wedding then DO IT, it was simply a dream come true that we will remember for the rest of our lives!! :)

Well what can I say?! Our wedding day was an absolute dream from start to finish. The team is absolutely incredible, with special shout outs to Emma for her impeccable organisation and to Andrew for his flawless service. We had several mobility challenged members of our party and they left this event feeling like they’d been treated like absolute queens! Nothing was too much trouble, they were always checking everyone was happy and often anticipated what we wanted before we had even realised! We were in super safe hands and could fully relax into the day and just enjoy it. We will forever treasure these special memories that were made possible by this incredible team of people.

The most perfect day at a dream venue Patrick and I had the most incredible experience getting married at Mapperton. From the moment we first visited we knew it was the perfect venue for us due to how flexible, versatile and stunning it is. Holly our amazing wedding coordinator was one of the reasons we chose the venue and is a true asset to Mapperton. She was there to take us through the whole process, being a fountain of knowledge for amazing suppliers in the South West and nothing was too big an ask. Most importantly she made sure our day ran like clockwork and we couldn't have asked for a better day. We first found The Orangery Suite within the few days after we got engaged in Mauritius. We emailed Becky whilst we were still abroad and viewed the venue the week after we got back to the UK and the venue looked amazing, even in the British rain! We looked at one other venue, just to say we had compared it to another place, but we knew instantly that it was the perfect venue for us. We are active people and can get bored easily, so all of the games and activities really appealed to us, along with the beautiful grounds! Becky, Scott and Louise have done the best job since taking over the venue and have really refreshed the look, including refurbishing inside the orangery suite and the outside bathrooms. Everything looked great on the day and it ran so smoothly, thanks to all of their efforts! Nothing was too much trouble for them and they helped answer and resolve any questions I had. All of our guests have commented on how perfect the venue was and what a good find it was. They all enjoyed playing all of the games, especially the mini golf, badminton, table football and basketball net! They were also so welcoming of our 2 dogs, Ted and Alfie, who also really enjoyed the day being ring bearers. There were no restrictions on how long they could stay or where they could go and it was so nice to know they were just as welcome as all of the humans! It really was the best day ever and we are so grateful to The Orangery Suite!
