Had my dogs registered here for over 2 years now, and i have to say i not disappointed at all so far. Both my American xl bullies and my french bulldog are in the pet health club, so all the fleaing and wormimg medication is included. Recently, I had my xl bullies neutered and spayed. The procedures were done with precision and minimal scarring, and they both received 25% off the total amounts due to the pet health club. The majority of staff are lovely and took a shine to my babies straight away. They received 5* service hands down,i only wish it was closer to me, lol.

Receptionists are so lovely and friendly, Jennifer is a really lovely vet, always listens to the owner and takes her time to help you. Her experience and professionalism shines through. In my years I have seen many vets owning Dogs and horses. It's lovely to have a vet that's friendly, has an amazing way with the dog and is very experianced. All the vets are lovely and caring I have seen at Yorkshire vets but Jennifer is the one I will see if I can win my two dogs. Good experience throughout

100% recommended this vets, wouldn't take my cat Archie anywhere else. Jen (vet) who my cat (Archie) sees and loves, is amazing with him I 100% trust her advice/care. Also the receptionists everyone of them, are so friendly and help you with anything. If your looking for a vets you won't be disappointed with thornbury Yorkshire vets. Vicki Johnson and Archie

For over 30 years I’ve been a client and had numerous of horses cared for along the way by Hirds . Peter is an amazing vet, finding most issues straight away. Tim is amazing and we thank him again for all that time done for our horses. We have our riding school horses cared for the past 17 years and Hirds are professional and caring. We also use Hirds small animal in Halifax town for our other animals. Thank you to every team member as there are so many team members taking part in our horses care. Special thanks to Vet Christian for his kindness and horsemanship with Leo’s operation, Jacks tooth out , Merrylegs ear scan , and Vets Sophie & Danielle & Hannah for managing our worm counts, and all the other ailments that come along. Vet grace came out to my pony yesterday after he had a fall in the field, she gave my pony a very in depth examination the decided to X-ray,finding a fracture to my pony’s pedal bone. Grace spoke through all next steps with my pony we didnt feel rushed. Will certainly be using Grace again. I couldn’t Thankyou enough for the care given to my boy x

Many thanks to Raj & Lynn for their compassion & care with helping us through putting our old border terrier to sleep. They really did make it easier for us, nothing was too much trouble. Lynn even teared up, and she had never met our dog before. What a lovely practice.

Brought my cat here for surgery, we are registered with a different branch but managed to get an app with any. This branch had the earliest. Was quiet and very clean. There is no carpark but plenty of main road parking. Receptionist was very welcoming and the main vet was really lovely too. Gave great aftercare advice and booked me a follow up app at the branch I'm registered too for ease. Great service!

Very friendly and caring. Managed to fit my dog in for an appppointment within an hour of calling. Very attentive and thoughtful. The vet was exceptional at putting my dog at ease and very thorough with her examination. She even gave my dog a treat afterwards. I would highly recommend.

We brought our new puppy along here to get his first immunisations along with micro-chipping. Us not being registered here though it was pretty quick & straight forward getting an appointment within a quick reasonable time frame (waiting 7days to be exact). Raj was the vet in charge that day & gave us a really warm very. Mylo was made to feel super relaxed & did not feel a thing. Would definitely recommend to any family or friends. The staff at this surgery treat your pet as though it was their own. I have received the most wonderful care for my 5 dogs and 1 cat over the last 8 years and yes I have used 2 other vets previously in Halifax. The receptionists are very helpful and especially good when you are struggling with a poorly animal. I had to have one of my Great danes put to sleep recently after a 3 year battle with epilepsy and wobblers, the staff are amazing and the treatment standards for your pets is outstanding.An update this surgery is the best I have moved 8 miles away and still travel to this surgery all of the staff are outstanding.

Amazing vets, highly recommend.. Only been using this vets for 3 years after I rescued my dog from her horrible previous owners.. They have been amazing with her.. She makes herself well known at the vets as she's reactive around other dogs (she's had a really horrible life before coming to me so understand why she's the way she is).. Always felt listened to by the vet, always seen the same guy who is ace with her even though she's a little cowbag with him, poor guy he tries his best with her.. The receptionists always end up putting us in our own room to stop my dog barking n lower her distress which I think is really good.. Consultations never felt rushed, always explained in detail then worked out the cost for me after I've agreed to whatever treatment they suggest.. As you can see by the photo attached my frenchie Blossom is looking very happy at the reputation she's gained at the vets after our last visit on 7th June 2023, being shunned into our own room again cause she thought she was harder then 2 dogs double the size of her 🤦‍♀️🙄 #SmallDogSyndrome

Since moving vets this is the first time I have had to bring one of dogs. He is usually a very nervous dog but right away, we were met by friendly staff who put ourselves and Archie at ease. This was continued when we met the vet who made archie feel comfortable, didn't try to push products on us, explained possible treatments and costs, and was knowledgeable and friendly throughout. We ledt feeling like even the vet had Archies best interests in mind opposed to trying to rack up the highest bill. Best vets visit since he was a pup, now he's 8! Would definitely recommend.

From the moment I walked through the door with my cat I was so impressed by receptionists efficiency, the vet that triaged my cat and the vet that subsequently helped me. On leaving the receptionist went through everything in detail. I cannot thank them enough.

Where do I start amazing the lovely vet that we had seen with Daisy was fabulous and made us feel at ease and made Daisy feel very relaxed as she is an old nervous girl but she has now started eating and drink after a very stressful 8 days I called the out of hour vets last night and spoke to the vet that looked after Daisy and I just thanked her for her help and Daisy is now on the mend ❤️‍🩹 so so grateful for your time and knowledge and support and understanding Thank you !!! As you can see daisy is starting to get better ❤️‍🩹
