I took my neighbour's cat in last night just as the vets were closing. I knew she looked very unwell and was very old. We didn't have an appointment, I just called in a panic and they said to come straight there. They were so so kind to us. They stayed open late and did all they could for her. They were so good at updating me and calling her owner on the phone. Then they waited for me to get my daughter from work to say goodbye. They gave us tissues and cried with us. They were so kind to Angel the cat and all her humans. They worked out what was wrong and kindly explained to us all, over and over again, that we couldn't have done anything else and it was time to make her comfortable and let her go. Their kindness and empathy of all the staff, the vets and the receptionists really helped us at a very sad time and ensured that Angel's final moments were calm and stable with people who cared for her and we are very grateful to them all

Kind, attentive and very supportive. We have two dogs one of whom is very nervous and they allow us to bring the nervous dog to every appointment even if it’s not for her as they want to work on her confidence with us. Tried a few vets in the area after moving from Bracknell and Hook Vets are by far the best!

Hook Vets are always so helpful and professional. Our cat Nutmeg has been very well cared for recently by the Nurse, Freya, who we cannot highly recommend enough - her calming manner around Nutmeg has put Nutmeg (& me) at total ease. Thank you for your great work and continued care.

I cannot speak more highly about the service I have had from Hook vets over the last few weeks. The staff have been incredibly flexible and understanding about getting me appointments to work around work hours. The vets and the nurses have been empathetic and incredibly conscientious about my cat's needs and wellbeing. You can tell that they genuinely care about animals and are kind, understanding and diligent in their roles. Particular thank you to Olivia on the front desk for sorting me with appointments and to vet Sarah for her work on hunting down the cause of our cat's mystery cystitis. I highly recommend Hook vets, especially to cat owners.

A great response to our need for a vet following our cat being bitten by another cat. We are new to the area so needed to find a vet and we were seen in less than 45 minutes. Great service and really appreciate the care given.
