We had concerns concerning our roof and as Rob was finishing up replacing a neighbour’s roof we asked him to inspect ours. He came within a couple of hours and as he inspected the roof took a video to show us the problems. We needed a full roof replacement as it was at the end of its life and Rob gave us a good quote for the work.As the job was quite urgent he and his team started within a few days. The materials he used were of a very high standard and the bulk of the work done within a couple of days. Storm Eowyn halted work for a day but Rob still came to check that everything they’d done was ok and it certainly was! We are very happy with our new roof. We cannot fault the workmanship from Rob and his lads - they worked diligently throughout, explained the processes and were respectful of our property at all times. We would certainly recommend them. Used Scott’s roofing after asking for a few quotes to get new flat roof, repair faulty valley, add lead flashings on all parapet walls among other things. Would definitely strongly recommend, Scott is a very reliable, very efficient roofer and his work has been very good. The key to choosing Scott was that I had the feeling that the work would be done quickly and to a high standard. Other roofing companies never really committed to a start date - efficiency and reliability are an absolute must when you have issues with your roof and Scott really delivers on both fronts. Communication throughout was also very good, lots of photos sent every day. Scott is always available for a quick chat to explain. He also suggested a few other things we had not spotted that needed doing. I am not used to posting reviews but genuinely found that choosing a roofing company can be a headache, so hope this can help others in London when deciding how to choose a roofer. Another roofing company that I normally use recommended Scott. Scott takes the time to explain how he will carry out the work. Sends pictures of the work he has done and how it will look when completed. He sent me pictures outlining with green lines and an explanation of how he will achieve the work. The work is very good, he is respectful and he walked through the property with his own shoe covers. I would recommend him, he is honest and he is very reliable. He has excellent time keeping and came 10 minutes early and was ready to start. There is nothing more I can say than really good.

Wayne and team did an excellent job replacing the flat roof over our conservatory. Good workmanship, high attention to details. Not only corrected the issues that the original builders created, but went above and beyond to fix some issues that they spotted without additional charge. Easy to contact, came when they said, charged exactly how much we agreed, 10/10. Also very polite and professional, and they clearly are very good at what they do. Our roof above the bay window was leaking, and the found some poor workmanship and weird solutions up there, which they undid and fixed properly. They also helped me with other issues on the other side of the house, and I felt like they went the extra mile to help me fix the issue as a whole. Couldn’t recommend them more.

A big thank you to Alex and his team for a first class job repairing our roof which was left in a shocking state by our neighbours roofer. Alex was joined by his team Michael and Simon for the first couple of days and then he and Michael completed it. We are really impressed by their first class work. Alex is a very friendly young man who excels in customer service. He kept us informed ever step of the way even providing photographs. Michael is a hard working lad who does a first class job. A great company and totally professional high quality work. From the start of the process to the end Rob was a great contact. Everything was clearly explained and we were given options as to what work we would have done. Decisions on types of tile and guttering were up to us and not being an expert we were sent links to look at types and colours. Rob also gave us a written quotation for the work ( which others were reluctant to or didn't do). All work is backed by an insurance guarantee and is is an excellent standard . Great service provided by Cestria roofing. Alex and Rob came out and gave us advice on our roof with no pressure. Once agreed on job they did their best to explain all the process to us. They ran into problems with past work we had done and went out of their way to try and fix with no extra cost. However, after discussions i preferred if they could give me another price to make the previous job finish at the same standard that they provide. I have used McDonald Roofing Contractors for three separate roofing jobs on a rather complicated roof - firstly replacing a box gutter and associated drainage, secondly replacing some lead work, and finally replacing half of the roof following my realisation that a previous roofer had only done half of the work paid for. Given all the cowboys out there it is reassuring to know a company who is professional, expert, tidy and efficient. I echo the praise of Kerry in the office, too! Delighted with the service and the end result.

John and his team did a complete new roof for our listed house and we were thrilled and delighted by McDonalds’ professionalism, honesty, hard work and, we’d go so far as to say, artistry. It is an absolutely beautiful job which we are still standing and staring at in admiration three weeks after it was finished. John even took the time to come over in person and reassure an over-anxious neighbour who was concerned (without any justification) about how our new roof would affect theirs. Two architects told me “McDonalds are the best in London” and one local property developer advised “Don’t even think about using anyone else”. They weren’t wrong. Great service all round from John, Kerry, Dave, Josh and the team. John found a great solution to deal with a difficult series of specific problems we encountered. Superb finish on the job overall - “the finest roofing job I’ve seen in years” said my visiting builder family member.

A really good experience from start to finish. We had our flat roof replaced along with other repairs needed. There was excellent communication throughout the project from getting quotes right through to completion. We were promptly sent all the verified certificates. The team were hard working, polite and courteous and Andrew (project manager) is a true gentleman - a person with manners from a different era. After torrential rain and wind, my roof sprung a series of significant leaks. Newman Roofing Services responded to my emergency with professionalism and efficiency. After the repairs had been completed the team went on to repair further parts of the roof as per my request. I was thrilled with the results - not only was my roof now a real roof (watertight) it also looked 1000x better. Having the roof revamped was the best decision I've made since the beginning of 2024!

We'd had some major leaks in our office building. John attended site promptly and got a quote to us quickly. The cost was very competitive and John was able to schedule in a start date in a timely manner. He was very friendly, communicative and polite and easy to speak to. When my Manager raised some H&S concerns as soon as I explained the situation John made arrangements to get things rectified straight away so the works weren't delayed unnecessarily. Our roof is now repaired and even though we've had some torrential rain recently we're still watertight so a job well done!

I Called John to get a few repairs done to a slate roof and ridge tiles. John came over the same day and gave me a quote for the cost involved for the repairs. After giving the go ahead John and his team came around the next day and the job was complete in only a couple days.
