“We loved the experience at the Horse & Groom Merrow. They were able to find us a table at the very last minute and what a lovely surprise it was! Starters were amazing, I highly recommend the pizzetta and squid. We had the pork belly and the roasted chicken as main, and we loved it too! I saved this place in my Google Maps profile, I will definitely come back.”

Visited the pub restaurant four times before I write this. It’s definitely a hidden gem and truly deserves a five star rating. Menu options are aplenty. I tried both lunch and dinner options. Service is impeccable. Environment is very relaxing and clean. Parking is free .

So we visited this afternoon and I have to say the food was unreal. Full of flavour and cooked to perfection, I couldn’t fault it. They also had some festive extras on the menu which really complimented the meal! Not expensive and absolutely worth every penny. I will be returning very soon. Thank you team

We visited this restaurant for my birthday and we stayed in the area on route to our next destination. A variety of options to choose from and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals, the service was also very very good. Don’t hesitate to book!

“We bring a friend here every few months - we always look forward to it. Food is good, very tasty homemade pub food. The puddings are excellent. The service is always very friendly and helpful. “I visited this pub/restaurant for a solo business meal. The staff were some of the friendliest, most welcoming restaurant staff I have ever encountered. The lady who I assumed was the manager treated me like a member of her family and could not do enough for me! Grace, who was waiting on my table was very attentive and friendly. The food was amazing. They said I would be back and they were right - I’ll definitely be going back here. The atmosphere was so cosy and welcoming!”
