Not the quickest, but the food is 100%, if it's busy you can have a wait but it's worth it, proper food at extremely good prices, really good coffee.

Really like Loolabells we visit when we take the dawg for a run up on the playing fields. It's a nice place to rest up for a drink and a bite to eat. The people are always very friendly and the food is freshly cooked to order and it's always very nice. Good to see it is a popular place too as always has a lot of people there. There is ample seating and shade on a hot day.

The chicken burger is to die for (so is the regular burger) and the english breakfast is scrumptious

I think Sorrel is one of the best restaurant I ever visit in Surrey Area , here is in UK since 9 years I live in this country. I am always amaze how the chefs are preparing this finest food by seeing the presentation with perfect real dĂ©lice. We was 6 of us, and all my friends enjoying the food, from beginning till end of Degustation menu which the only one choice , and it was perfect, also the Wine list a lots of choice. Love the ambiance of the restaurant , so cosy and relax old house . And the service was also correct , so after all just perfect fine dinning restaurant in Surrey area. I am glad and happy as all my friends they like it and keep thanking me by introducing this place. Sure and certainly Iâll be back again before I left this country. Highly recommended for those who knows the real fine dinning restaurant with high quality food.

Fantastic culinary experience at Sorrel on Thursday evening! Had the taster menu with wine flight and it was an incredible treat, very clever indeed! Even got invited to look in the kitchen, looking to return in summer! For me the dishes that stood out the most were the scallop, barbecued quail, supplementary cheese course and the blackberry waldorf dessert.

The food was very delicious, the setting is pleasant and the seats are very comfortable. The service was very friendly, described all the meals well but unfortunately they were rather slow, it took several courses until we got to order wine, another wait was for the bill. In a casual restaurant we would not mind but when paying ÂŁ400+ for the meal for two, we would expect much more.

Second time at the restaurant, and it was a wonderful experience. It was a mini honeymoon as we got married the day before. We went for the wine flight too and was served by Luke(?) who was very interesting and served some incredible wines. Flora (we think that was her name!) was our server and she was exceptional. And finally, the food was just brilliant and so so tasty. It felt a bit like having the best food we've had in ages in a family home type vibe, so lovely was the atmosphere. Obviously it cost and arm and a leg, but it's really worth it and you must have this kind of restaurant experience at least once if you're able to, especially for a special occasion, or if someone else if paying! Thanks again for making the effort with the flowers, personal menu etc. It meant a lot! Cheers, Dave and Chloe.

Shame itâs small and not easy to get a table. The food is great and homemade, staff really knowledgeable and helpful however they were rather slow to serve customers. Great variety of world foods from delicatessen charcuterie to biscuits and sauces. Average priced for the area but excellent quality

What a perfect little spot! Delicious sandwiches with the most expansive selection itâs hard to choose - including vegan options! Curried fritters were to die for and the cakes were divine. Delicious coffee, relaxed and cosy atmosphere. Canât wait to come back and peruse the fridge and shelves to take home some lovely meats, cheeses and specialist pastas! Would highly highly recommend. Excellent service with a warm welcome and clean, tidy and inviting!

Fabulous food with amazing ingredients prepared by people who care. London cuisine in Leatherhead. Come here before they get a Michelin star and the prices go up. Believe the hype. It really is that good. Try the Sgroppino. Tremendulent.

We had a wonderful meal here at very reasonable prices: three courses and a 250ml glass of wine for ÂŁ45. The service was very attentive and the waiters were friendly and engaging to just the right degree without being invasive. It was a pleasure to chat with them actually. The food was extremely tasty, and when three of my mussels were left in the bowl because they hadn't opened, the waiter even offered to get me a small extra portion, but that wasn't necessary. Highly recommended.

Best place ever! The food is so delicious đ€€ the atmosphere is like you are dining in a warm place somewhere in Toscana, the service is on top and itâs such a welcoming place with a great vibe! I canât recommend this place enough the apartment we stayed in was cosy and clean and exactly what we needed to get away from our busy lifeâs for the weekend, we decided to eat in the pub on Sunday and it was hands down the best roast dinner I have ever eaten and Iv eaten a lot! The food was superb, myself and my friend spoke about it for days after and having been craving the pork belly ever since! even the coffee is full of flavour. The pub itself has a beautiful feel cosy and warm but with a modern twist, staff were helpful, friendly and accommodating. We had some usually a little naughty dogs with us who also seemed to love it and behaved the best they ever have in a pub to date. Donât hesitate, go, you will not regret it

This is a really lovely pub. Lots of cyclists and seemed like they own some holiday lets round the side. We had a drink but I wish we had eaten. The food looked great and menu is expansive. We'll be coming back.
Rating: 4 / 5
We had the Surrey hills English breakfast, it was excellent, fresh and hot. Maybe a tad expensive at ÂŁ15 a pop, but I can't knock the pub decor very plush and comfortable. I would mention that parking is awful, all parking is on the very narrow street outside the pub.

My book club organised a Christmas lunch at The Queen Stage. The staff were lovely and very efficient. The pub was beautifully decorated as was our table which was set out with festive items and the food was delicious. I was very impressed and will certainly return for meals in the new year.

Lovely pub with a nice atmosphere. I had a 3 course Sunday lunch. Roast beef was fantastic as was the chocolate brownie. However the prawn cocktail starter was very disappointing, not many prawns or sauce. Great service.

Called in on off chance as local restaurant we had booked had let us down and was closed. The Staff at The Old Plough were SO accommodating. From the person at restaurant entrance/maitre 'd'..the chef regarding my friends Nitrate allergy and the waitress was a cheerful delight. Service and food superb đ Absolutley can recommend and will def return. I had the fish sharing plate as a main and my friends had the salmon.. The chef made her a garlic butter sauce as she couldent have the mayo that came with the dish... Could not fault anything about our lunch and the staff đ

Friendly local pub, with Gastro food, a relaxed rustic garden with trees that made a great sun shelter! Limited menu but with plenty of variety on it. We enjoyed the black pudding scotch egg, and chicken schnitzel. Nice sticky toffee pudding and apple crumble to follow. Kids menu was good and although we didnât need them we spotted colouring pencils. (Also dog friendly đ)

This is a proper pub that also happens to serve meals - you could go here for a few drinks very happily without feeling like youâre taking up table space from the food bit. That said, we mainly went to eat, and the food and service were excellent. The Plough serves pub food done perfectly in terms of the ingredients, portions and presentation, and itâs reasonably priced too. You will come across nearby Surrey Hills pubs that are similarly excellent in many respects, but The Plough runs them all close, especially in value for money terms. Will come again. Thank you.

Fantastic Sunday lunch and the loveliest young staff serving us, absolutely charming! Their huge beer garden was also nice. The food was phenomenal and well-priced for a roast. Good range of beers including local Shere Drop.

Randomly popped in with my family for lunch on Saturday. Pub is not huge, but it filled up quickly I would recommend booking a table ahead. Chap serving us was lovely and we didnât had any issue with the service despite the fact that he was alone balancing everything in the place! Menu looked quite simple, but it was absolutely delicious. Simple pub food made very nicely. Their gravy could be a bit thicker but thatâs just could be me. We had three different desserts all as equally good as the other, icecream was extremely scrumptious! Food was reasonably priced, especially that other places charge more for inferior quality meals. Will be returning in the future.

We were so lucky to get seated as weâd not booked and Sundays seem very popular. Really friendly and welcoming staff. We both decided on the absolutely superb roast lamb with all the trimmings and it arrived super quick. I had to sample the chocolate trillionaire tart with vanilla ice creamđ. I highly recommend you book a table you wonât be disappointed.

Stopped off for a quick burger around 7pm on a Friday and were very pleased with our impromptu dinner. Staff were lovely and since the restaurant was full we were offered an alternative place to sit outside. When an indoor table cancelled we were given the option to move indoors. Much appreciated! A good food recommendation given by the hostess too. Food was fresh, yummy and arrived quickly. Would happily come back if I was in the area again.

I'm very happy with the treatment but above all with the quality of the food, I must say that it's better to go with reservation to secure your table but come on. As always, Chef Santana doesn't disappoint us anywhere. I recommend spicy squid, it's just perfect.

I went to La Meridiana to celebrate our family reunion, and everything was very nice. They had live music, which of course made the atmosphere very nice. The kitchen service was very quick, but most importantly, the food was INCREDIBLE. I have been going to the restaurant for a couple of years, and it keeps on getting better. We had the special Skate wrapped in bacon and it was insanely good. The portions are really good as you have space for the amazing desserts they offer. I have not tried a better authentic Italian restaurant in Surrey!

I'm cat sitting in Horsley for ten days. I'd never heard of it until my good friend moved here and frankly the thought of ten days this far out was unnerving. However my first night, on recommendation, I headed to La Meridiana and tonight for one reason or another I went again, alone. And it was divine. Grad and avo starter - light, fluffy, mousse-esque, followed by prawn linguine (creamy yet made with barely any cream!), profiterolo because it is true Italiano and it'd be rude not to and to round it all off I ordered a Sgarro (?) drink - prosecco, scoop of sorbet, shot of vodka and a sprig of mint. Lift, refreshing and delicious. I got caught up in the most wonderful conversation with a family on the table next to me, was woo-ed by my lovely Portuguese waiter and made to feel special by the (guitar playing(?)) owner. It was just delightful and very special
