What a GEM! I've travelled to London for a short conference and was brought to this lovely Cafe. The staff was friendly and so welcoming. They recommended the scotch egg and chicken& ham Cornish pasty. Yum! I had a mocha while my friend (local) had an Americano. I reckon I would be a regular if I lived here. 5 stars 👋🏻 Totally recommend if you are passing through and need a break.
The food & coffee cannot be faulted in the slightest... Food tasted incredibly fresh, healthy and very flavourful with generous portions. The coffee is probably the best I’ve tried, incredible taste and didn’t want it to end... Service was okay, needs improvement hence why I gave a 4*. One waiter was very friendly and helpful but 2 of the waitresses were a little unwelcoming. Service was a little delayed than what I would’ve expected. I would definitely go back here for the great food & coffee and recommend.... great local gem!
I have had many a coffee & cake & a few lunches at the P & A & have never been let down. Always good service, good food & drinks & today they included Bowie in their playlist, so have gone even further up in my estimations!!
What a great place!! Lovely staff, good quality food (Cornish Pasty and the Apple Crumble cake) YUM! And the Coffee was excellent! Travelling from London every week so the wife can ride, It will be my “go-to place” from now on! Thank you P & A!
Alan provided the most amazing canapés for my Christmas drinks’ party… crostinis were beautifully presented and so tasty. I received so many compliments from my guests. Alan even hand delivered to my house. Thank you! I wholeheartedly recommend
