Visited Fego in Cobham on a Saturday morning around 11am before a visit to nearby Painshill Park. The food was tasty and the french toast with roasted pineapple (pictured) was particularly unique. But the service was quite slow, hence the deduction of a star. We weren't in a rush, but it was around 40+ minutes until we received food and we had to ask 3 times for our bill once done. However - it was a summer weekend morning and the place was busy. So while the waits were perhaps understandable, they didn't make for the smoothest experience.
I had the full English breakfast, which was really good. Served with the eggs still very hot - a bonus. It is noisy inside because it’s popular and I would suggest anyone that struggles hearing amongst background noise might struggle. Again, owing to popularity, you might wait a bit at busy times so bear that in mind.
The service and cuisine were exceptional. The restaurant's ambiance was delightful. I highly recommend it. The coffee here is exquisite and smooth. The location is charming.
Excellent breakfast! Friendly service and atmosphere. Won the “Best Coffee Shop” in Surrey.
This is a fantastic place, so happy we stopped here for lunch. Would love to come back and check it again. Everything looks incredible coming out of the kitchen!
