I went to Namaste London with my husband and we had an amazing experience 😍 the food was absolutely delicious and perfectly spiced. From the warm, inviting atmosphere to the friendly and attentive staff, everything exceeded our expectations. We especially loved the samosa and my husband loved the chicken – it was a standout! Highly recommend this place to anyone craving authentic and modern Indian cuisine. We’ll definitely be back soon!

I had the pleasure of attending Silk Road restaurant’s testing food event with friends recently. We had a wonderful time. It was a great family atmosphere. Everyone including children were enjoying the drink and good food. Excellent service from the host. Wish SilkRoad Restaurant all the best and prosperity in the future.

I ate here before it closed down but it wasn't great. Tomato soup was too sweet and the bread was hard. So I can't speak for the change. But the staff are brilliant.

What a beautiful setting for a drink/meal. It was lovely weather mind & the sunset was spectacular! We went for a drink which turned into a meal but was close to Closing the kitchen. The friendly staff accommodated us & we sat outside & had a beautifully cooked steak whilst taking in the lowering sun. It’s easy access for wheelchairs, large car park & there’s a very good sized garden for children to play in. They also allow dogs on leads. Would highly recommend this pub.

We had a wonderful Sunday roast while sitting outside, enjoying the beautiful views of the fields. The food was not only delicious but also complemented by the friendly and attentive service. We’ve been to this pub a few times. Standout is the service and the location, and just the beautiful building. The food is also really good. The ONLY thing I don’t like is the selection of beers/ciders on tap, they only serve the products of a local brewery. We always enjoy going and the kids love the garden. We will keep coming back.

It's a very good restaurant never thought Indian restaurants had so many tasty foods there 😋. I'm impressed. Ordered and came as I expected sometimes late because of traffic, I get that but the food are just too good to be true. Love it there! 😋🌮🍱🥘

Always come here for my birthday and ordered last night, proper curry , reminds me like back home instead of all the curry places around Caterham. Fresh unlike the other places! So good!

Went for a late birthday lunch with my mother and grandmother. Tables brightly lit, decor somewhat ornate and clean. It was empty so we were seated straight away. Food was hot and appropriately spiced (not too much). Lunch menu was reasonably priced with a starter (I had Chicken Satay, three piece, dip was suitably nutty; their tempura-battered shrimp "was lovely") and a main course from a restricted menu of mostly rice and one noodle dish with a choice of meats. Server was patient and answered questions when ordering and was kind enough to switch to Drunken Noodle sauce for my order (the dish was not on the lunch menu), and boxed my grandmother's Pad Thai to take when she couldn't finish. Paid ~£45 for three, inc. drinks and my dessert. I wouldn't go for that bombe again, the orange tasted artificial, but it arrived correctly frozen and presented well, like all dishes. Deserves more traffic at lunch!

PROS Food always nicely presented, well cooked and a well thought out home cooked menu, done brilliantly by Auntie. Very good value for money. Asian waitress has a lovely South London accent and speaks lovely Queen`s English. All the staff are happy friendly and super nice. Plenty of parking in the nearby car parks or bays down the road or side streets. Clean toilets with large litter bins for rubbish. Really lovely homely atmosphere. Best Thai restaurant within miles of Caterham. CONS. To close to home and so nice I keep going back for more.

The King & Queen in Caterham is an absolute riot! From the moment I walked in, I felt like royalty. The staff treated me like a king (or queen!), and the atmosphere was buzzing with good vibes. I ordered a pint, and it was so good I almost considered proposing to it. The decor is quirky and charming, with enough character to make even the grumpiest of patrons crack a smile. If you’re looking for a place to have a laugh and enjoy a top-notch pint, this is it. Long live The King & Queen!

I love this pub, it’s everything I want a pub to be. It’s a Fullers pub so has decent beer and often with one or two guest beers. It dates back to the mid-1800s and is staffed by people who understand beer and bars. Some live music on the weekends but there is a full itinerary of events listed in the bar itself. Always a warm welcome with a variety of seating areas and a small free carpark at the back. My only criticism is a lack of pork scratchings but that won’t hurt my waistline or stop me going!

We have been looking for a good Chinese restaurant for some years and have found most around Croydon very disappointing. That changed yesterday evening when we discovered Caterham Chinese Restaurant. The food was delicious and the service impeccable. It may not look much from the outside but inside it is lovely. We have a great Chinese takeaway near us, but whenever we fancy going out for Chinese in future this is where we will be going.

Great food and family experience at La Fiaba... Every dish is prepared from scratch and oh, the rich flavors you can't describe... Well done to the Chef and the whole crew for keeping this gem hidden for dining enthusiasts to discover and enjoy.... Try, among others, the sea bass, creme brulee and the cheese cake...

The food is gorgeous. Couple of issues with getting the order correct (veggie/meat mix up and drinks) but all sorted quickly and apologies given and removed from the bill. I cannot recommend more.

The Kerala serves good food with flavors that truly stand out. The dishes are well-prepared, with fresh ingredients and a perfect blend of spices. However, the service needs improvement. Additionally, there's no dedicated parking. You can park for up to 1.5 hours at the Waitrose lot behind the restaurant, which requires some planning. In summary, while the food is exceptional, be prepared for mediocre service and parking challenges. When asked about quantity of chilli cauliflower to the lady who served us just to check whether it will be enough for 4 of us as a starter she said “she don’t count them “ which we felt rude

Best Indian Restaurant by far in Caterham, no competition really. Also, never really seen too many people seated whenever I went, which makes it quite the relaxed environment to dine & eat in!
