Fresh made pizza, Huge thin crust crispy, Quality and quantity, staff friendly.
Wow!! We loved every aspect of our visit. The staff were super friendly and accomodating. Our dog was welcomed and quickly provided with a water bowl. The beer and wine was delicious. The pizza was seriously some of the best we have ever tried. Absolutely fantastic! We ordered more to bring home it was so delicious. We can't wait to go back!!
Perhaps I'm a bit bias with this review as this place does bring back a lot of nostalgia...but what a beautiful place to eat and drink! I grew up just round the corner and hadn't been back here in 15-20 years but so glad I did, the food is outstanding! Good drink choice here too and the staff put the icing on the cake, very polite and helpful. We will be returning more regularly from now on.
I didn't eat, but those around me did, and it smelled delicious! I was very pleased with the bar staff and their attentive, yet not fake behaviour. My only issue was the ladies toilet. It was not to the same standard as the pub, with multiple toilet rolls stacked on the cistern, and it looked extremely tired and unloved. Also, (maybe just a bug bear for us vertically challenged lot), the mirror above the sink was so high I only saw my forehead and hairline...
If you like pizza this is the place to go. Really huge and great pizzas Nice old pub atmosphere and friendly staff. What’s not to like
