Lovely old English pub with roaring log fire. Dog friendly. Good range of beers and great menu.
Didn't have food, but menu looked good. Serviced quick relaxing drink on a Saturday with me wife.
Great food, huge portions and not expensive. Range of ales is excellent. Can't fault it really. Nice atmosphere, kept it's charm.
Beautiful pub and the warmest, landlord and landlady you'll ever meet. I only popped in for a pint. I loved overhearing the landlord chat to a customer about his recent sighting of a marsh harrier in a Godalming field. Just so quintessentially rural England! Some parking available outside.
I don’t normally leave reviews unless I feel it worth doing. And I have to say for this place it’s worth it. The staff are super friendly and the food was fantastic, My hat goes off to the chef. For the price of a Sunday Roast I am amazed. And the other item on the menu I will be going back to try. There is also a slide and playground so your children can go play while you sit back and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere on a Sunday afternoon. This place is well worth the visit.
