We used GTA for 11+ tuition. Assam was great. My daughter was a BIG fan of his teaching methods - not so much of the homework he set though! HA! She loved the lessons and found them very helpful. What I liked about most about these guys is the honest assessment of your child's abilities. On my first meeting with Shahnaz, she was very open in telling me that if she didn't think my child was capable of doing the 11+, she would tell me straight and that it would be unfair to put pressure on a child if it is clear they are not up to it. I really liked that. There was never any pressure to book lessons either. I was also very grateful for all the tips and advice Shahnaz gave me - as the parent, supporting my child's learning - which I found invaluable, especially moving forward as "it doesn't stop here" Shahnaz quite rightly said. So all-in-all, great service, I would highly recommend them.

We cannot thank the all Gravesend Tutoring Academy team enough, specifically Asam and Shahnaz. My son started November last year and until September this year he had amazing lessons, revisions and mocks. We’ ve noticed great improvements even after few weeks he started with GTA. Teacher Paul is a Master of Teaching. My 13-year-old daughter is a big fan of Paul. One class in year 9 math made her realize how easy it is to grasp the essence of mathematical reasoning. One class on Victorian history inspired her to spontaneously commenced a interesting project of her own. She googled the Chinese chronology, did some research, and drew a series of clothing styles corresponding to each era. One month of preparation for the entrance exam gave her the opportunity to enter her dream school! It was teacher Paul who gave my daughter the confidence to make things happen.

My son has been having lessons with Paul now for a year, when he was in school he didn't understand maths atall every parents evening they told he was so behind . Paul has been working with our daughter on maths GCSE for the past couple of months with the aim of getting her from a grade 2/3 to a grade 4. The progress she has made has been remarkably, we await to see what grade she gets, but I have no doubt had we had more time she would have been able to have got a grade 5/6. She really enjoyed the lessons and found the way Paul teaches maths made a very difficult subject seem normal. Paul showed an understanding and caring approach towards our daughter with the normal day to day pressures that a 15-year-old kid is under with exams looming. Having moved from South Africa in December 2022 our daughter started schooling in Sevenoaks in January 2023. She started midway of way year 4 and did not do year 3 due to age and different schooling models. Matt took on our daughter for 11plus lessons and it was onwards up. We enrolled our son in Kumon for maths since the last 4 months and we have seen a remarkable difference in his attitude towards studying. He is much quick in doing his calculations and loves challenges, which each level bring with it. He has always been a bright child but lacked the ability to sit and focus, as would get easily distracted. We have noticed Kumon has taught him routine and discipline in such short time and hope it continues this way. Tony Capozzi the instructor at the East Malling Centre, is very good in his ways in inspiring young kids at concentrating and doing their best especially boys. He also encourages and guides parents in motivating and working along with their child in achieving their goals together!

Tony the Instructor at the Kings Hill & Malling Kumon Centre has really helped my 11 year old daughter progress with her maths. Bella started 3 years ago and was struggling to grasp the fundamentals of addition, subtraction, multiplication and especially division. Her confidence was low and she would try and avoid maths questions at all costs. Starting slowly, Tony built up her confidence with the basics, and as she completed each stage, she moved onto the next level and built up her competency. She is now proficient in all of the basics. This has made a huge difference in both her school work and her self esteem. I am incredibly grateful to both Tony, and his lovely team and would highly recommend Kumon.

I can’t recommend Tony enough! My 9 year old daughter had gaps in her learning from a school move and Kumon has plugged those gaps and built the quick recall she needed to improve. This has boosted my daughter’s confidence hugely and she has moved up to top set at school and is thrilled. Tony the Instructor at the Kings Hill & Malling Kumon Centre has really helped my 5-year-old son since he started Kumon. He lacked concentration and was unable to work independently. Tony instantly picked up on his areas for improvement and worked with my son and taught me tips to overcome these obstacles. Since then, my son is adding confidently, quickly and accurately and has made great strides with his study routine. He is now constantly asking me maths questions in the car and adding up for enjoyment.

Paro tuition was recommended by a friend of mine. Faisal and his team were extremely professional . One of the tutors Karen explained all subjects in greater detail allowing each learner to learn at their own pace. A friendly environment for children to learn and excel without being pushed. I came with my family to Rochester after so many years living in London. I desperately needed lessons for my daughter's 11+ exam preparations.
