Minerva Tutors have been a massive help for my daughter taking a 13+ academic scholarship. I contacted Minerva and had a call with the office and explained exactly what I wanted. Think Tutors has been an absolutely invaluable asset to to my A-levels over the past two years. I have been tutored by James Mitchell in Geography, which has been nothing short of a pleasure week in week out due to his wide range of subject knowledge and very engaging and interesting teaching method. With the help of James I was able to achieve an A grade as my final grade, as well as an A* grade in my coursework (something which was not actually taken into official consideration in the final grade due to the COVID 19 outbreak thus changing the way grades were awarded). I would recommend to anyone looking at using Think Tutors to do so as in my own experience for the definite improvements it will bring to your grades the cost incurred is very good value. It is a short-term investment to help you achieve a thoroughly better end grade which is attached to you for life.

My daughter has struggled with Maths since year 2, she is now in year 4. Daisy had lost confidence and was falling behind massively and finding maths a real struggle. Christie spent a while finding us the right tutor for daisy and understood this was very important as she had lost confidence in class. We were introduced to Paul whom daisy clicked with straight away as did myself and husband.. within 2 weeks daisy received a Headteacher award for improvement and confidence in asking questions even though they were not aware she was being tutored .. They are very well connected and the Kensington address helps with high calibre clientele. Their international work can be varied and payment issues are not unknown with some clients. However, their accounts team and management are very personable and genuinely act as agents for their tutors and clients rather than faceless middlemen adding little value. Sophie is excellent and comes at this from the background of tutoring herself so just gets it. Dion works very hard and is a very empathetic member of the team, understanding clients and tutors' perspectives very well.

Our son has been working with Sarah for approximately 18 months now. Initially this was for 11+ prep but we have continued with his sessions post exams to prepare him for secondary school. We were delighted when he was offered a place at our first choice school recently and Sarah was an incredible support helping our son to get through the process. Our son loves his tutoring with Sarah. He is always happy to jump online for their calls and he really enjoys the time they spend together. I work with Tutor House as a business and economics tutor. They are one of the best tutoring companies which I have come across. The team look after both tutors and students very well, offering as much support as is needed. The courses which Tutor House offer are excellent and the other tutors are also brilliant. Students can work in groups or one-to-one with tutors, and have the opportunity to make so much progress. I have always had fantastic results with my students at Tutor House. During the uncertainty of coronavirus, Mya and Alex have gone above and beyond to support everyone to ensure we can still provide a good education to our students. They are ready to answer any question that might come up and have really worked hard to make the experience as stress-free as possible for both tutors and students. From a tutor’s perspective, Tutor House pays fair rates, always pays invoices quickly and on time and offers so much support with lesson planning, assessments and reports. They have very clearly invested a lot of time and money into building an unrivalled platform for all parties. Their integrated platform is a strong value add for clients and tutors alike, with no need for either party to use Zoom or Skype or any of the other apps to connect. They have detailed reviews of tutors with real client feedback to I've you the best assessment of whether a tutor is actually able to help you. Their tutors' experience is impressive and they've retained a lot of talent despite tutoring being a short-term or stopgap role for many people. For tutors, they allow you to set your own rate (although you sometimes feel like they're encouraging you to reduce this despite the initial sense of being able to determine pricing yourself). I think they slightly undersell themselves and could probably increase fees a bit (I've worked with them for a few years). Some fo their clients could certainly afford to pay a bit more, however some clients struggle with the platform and the agency could certainly put more effort into explaining how to use it (especially for newbies). The team are generally very responsive but there has been occasion where pay wasn't fully pursued as it could have been, and card issues are not uncommon because of the nature of billing (usually post sessions, which could encourage some bad apples to try to make off without paying). The team could be a bit better at responding to tutors and should tell people if certain team members are leaving since tutors may only know one person at the agency. The team are quick to get in touch if there's negative feedback or for their concerns about charge-out rates, but it can feel like a very one-way street with tutor enquiries often getting ignored despite the advertised extensive support and integrated online enquiry form. Overall, they are fantastic, but slightly undersell themselves an should look to increase their highest fees in the current financial year due to inflation eroding the premium they used to pay compared to other agencies.

Kavita Arif is an excellent Math teacher. She has been tutoring my son for a few weeks, and her teaching method is very interactive. She keeps her students engaged continuously and works them through any sticky patches they might encounter. She is brilliant, and I highly recommend her. Safiyyah is an excellent Biology, Chemistry and Geography teacher. She has extensive knowledge of her subjects and is gentle with her students, allowing them to be comfortable and grasp the subject matter she teaches. She is fantastic, and I wish she had taught more subjects.

My son found Alun absolutely perfect for him, he enjoyed every session with him and usually came out with a smile on his face as he had learnt something new again. Kevin is an outstanding and naturally gifted tutor who was able to put my daughter at ease from the 1st lesson. He understands the teenage brain and works very well in nurturing his student with versatility and consideration of their current mindset.
